    Riders Rock the House

    by Baldcop46 on 2009-07-12Rogers Centre - Toronto

What a game ! The Riders held a clinic, the roof opened to reveal a beautiful day with the CN Tower in the background. That coupled with a great lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe, the day turned out to be spectacular.

    Best Game Ever

by Ledrewose on 2009-07-12Rogers Centre - Toronto

I sat down at my computer looking for tickets to the Argonaunts, Roughriders game. Throught Ticket Master I not only found the best seats at the best price, I was able to print them at home as well. We were on the seconds level of the Rogers Centre several rows from the railing. We could see everything, they were the best seat ever. Wecould see everthing. If it where not for Ticket Master, and the ability to purchase and print the tickets from the comfort of my home computer. I'm not sure we would not have been able to watch the Roughriders stomp the Argos.

GAME WAS A BUST, BUT FANS ARE NUMBER 1

by ARGONAUGHTY on 2009-07-12Rogers Centre - Toronto

This was the season Home opener and after the total dismantling of the Tigercats, the future seemed bright. The game started off great, we had great sightlines of the cheerleaders and the place was rockin! The Argos got on the board first and it appeared as though they were in control. By half time tough it was a different story. The team seemed to collapse and make some stupid penalties which cost them field position and points. They did come back in the second half and ended up losing by 10 points. Better luck next time as they say! They better get their act together if the want to sell more tickets.

    Argos is great value

by Zapp on 2009-07-12Rogers Centre - Toronto

I brought my son and two of his friends to the Argos game on July 11. We all had a great time and the kids had a memorable experience. I find the Rogers Center to be a great venue to watch sports. I have been there a number of times and the cleanliness and practicality of the venue is world class. The Argos lost but we still had a good time. We will return this season and I already bought my tickets.

    Great day for a game!

by Iceman on 2009-07-12Rogers Centre - Toronto

Although the home team came up short on the field, it was a great day for a game! The place was packed and it was a great time to spend with friends!

    Arrrrrgossss.... Need Improvement

by DKinBarrie on 2009-07-12Rogers Centre - Toronto

Not much additional entertainment & the game, after a good start was rather boring. Getting out-scored 30-0 in the 2nd Qtr in your own house... very bad! The Argos need more discipline & better execution. Dropped passes & too many penalties killed them. The always overpriced food & lackluster team effort makes it unlikely I will take the family again any time soon.

Riders dominate Argos in season opener!

    by pablo78 on 2009-07-12Rogers Centre - Toronto

Riders beat Argos in the CFL opening home game of the season for Toronto. I think it was a game where poise prevailed. The Argos stopped the Riders on their first possession in a 2 and out and followed this with a commanding march to a toudhdown. It looked like it might be a long afternoon for Saskatchewan. But the Riders made adjustments and began making stops. and then got a fieldgoad, and gradually the Argo defence began loosening. The game's momentum was shifting. A pivotal moment occurred in the second quarter when the Argo punt returner on the Argo three yard line declined to give up a single forcing them to scrimmage from their goal line. They cjust couldn't get out of their redzone and never got beyond their 35 yardline in the quarter while Saskatchewan scored 30 points in a variety of ways: fumbles, costly and undisciplined Argo penalies and finally a blocked punt which Saskatchewan recovered for a touchdown. The way the Argos collapsed was a bit unreal but I was delighted because my team won. I think it had a lot to do with Saskatchewan's poise when it looked like it had the makings of an Argo romp after the first few minutes of the game.

    Its the football that matters

by cflfan on 2009-07-12Rogers Centre - Toronto

Where was the tailgate party? Where were the argos? Replay penalty calls - stir up a little emotion but most of all Music and contests and blather go right over game action and referee announcements its the football game that matters!
