I have been to many sporting events over the years, and this ranks as one of the best! Go SCEPTRES!!!
PWHL hockey is EXCELLENT hockey!!! Scotiabank Arena should host more games at this location. 19,000 plus fans were in attendance. These players deserve the right to play at this size of venue. It was obvious from the attendance that Toronto wants to support the Toronto Sceptres and Women's hockey.
Sold out Arena, great hockey and the fans were amazing. Womens Professional Hockey on the rise!
Excellent game. Wonderful to see the arena at capacity supporting women's sport.
If you ever get the chance to attend any PWHL game, don’t hesitate— please go! Especially in Toronto, it’s an absolute must. The energy in the arena is electrifying. I had the privilege of attending a game in the inaugural season at Maple Leaf Gardens, and even back then, the atmosphere was intense and unforgettable at a much smaller venue. But this season, the Battle on Bay Street at Scotiabank Arena was on a whole new level. With a crowd of 19,102 fans, the excitement in the building was hard to describe, with the crowd buzzing from start to finish. Even cheering on New York's Goalie when she won the third star. What struck me was seeing so many young girls in the stands, watching their heroes play in real life, and being inspired by the incredible talent on the ice. Even just on TV. Something we never had before. It's such a heartwarming experience, and the overall environment is so wholesome. No issues with people drinking too much or being rowdy. Felt very safe the whole time. Very positive. The crowd only booed once or twice I think on a bad penalty call. There were a select few Sirens fans who were cheering when they scored too. Those fans were not booed. At a Leafs game, they would be. People are just happy to be there. Women’s sports are thriving, and it’s a privilege to witness it firsthand. It is much bigger than the game itself. I know that one day, one of those girls (AT LEAST) in the crowd will be playing in the next 5, or 10 years. It’s a place where you can truly feel the passion and love for the game. I have been to a lot of Leafs games and the lower bowl has never had that much energy. Even in the nosebleeds, dancing to the music and being silly with their teammates, just having fun. GO SCEPTRES
Watched the Toronto Sceptres play the New York Sirens at the Scotiabank Arena - what a trip! The players' skills are fabulous to watch across the board and give Toronto that much more to celebrate in sports! A must-watch.
A fantastic night out! Perfect seats, good food and great audience interaction/ participation
Seeing the first PWHL game in Vancouver is probably going to be the highlight of my 2025 year. I am so excited to be a part of this monumental moment. Best hockey game I've ever seen! Please support women's hockey!!
Lots of fun watching the game with my daughter. She loved the game . Hoping we can get a team here in Vancouver
Having the PWHL come to town for one night proved to be a great experience for my U11 Girls team. The crowd was well represented by teams and it made for an amazing night for those in attendance.
The PWHL takeover tour game in Vancouver was absolutely amazing I hope we get a team in Vancouver
The atmosphere in the arena was electric. It was a hockey game the way they are meant to be watched. So much fun, so much cheering and just all around an amazing night.
The crowd was electric, the vibes were immaculate, Vancouver needs a PWHL team. Anyone who hasn't gone to a PWHL game is missing out. If you have to travel to go, do it.
What a fantastic night. I hope it is the first of many!
If this game was any indication, Vancouver would be an amazing location for the PWHL's next team! Let's go!!
I was part of history! It was a privilege to attend this prestigious event! It filled my heart with joy, seeing all the parents with the girls and boys. Everyone was so excited.! It showed me how anxious we are all in our desire to have our own leagues across Canada. I played hockey in the 1960s and I feel thrilled that , finally ,60 years later we have a professional women’s league. It has taken women 117 years to get her foot in the door of a real hockey rink!
My group had an incredible time at the PWHL game. The atmosphere was exponentially better than Canucks games. Please, give Vancouver a PWHL team!!!
I had the best time! This was so much fun and I am thrilled that I decided to go!
Amazing atmosphere!! So fun and inspiring for all the young girls!
