    Tory Lanez & friends

by coco on 2020-02-26Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

The concert was great but the only thing lacking was the friends. He should have just called it the Chixtape tour in Toronto. I get it Drake was unavailable because he was at the Raptors game. Jessie Reyez was a nice addition. Also I don't know if it is because he's in between labels and the budget is not there to fly in artists and put them up in hotels that they are used to but it would've been nice to have at least two friends. Maybe Partynextdoor or the Weeknd since I see that his theme is getting artists who already live in the city he's performing in or happened to be in town.

    Tory Lanez & One Friend

by Jells on 2020-02-26Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

Tory was great! He had so much energy and kept the crowd engaged. I just wish he brought out more artists with him, as the concert was advertised as, “Tory Lanez & Friends”. Nonetheless, I would definitely see him on tour again.

    Upgrade Needed

by Coko B on 2020-02-26Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

Tory Lanez was absolutely amazing!! His voice did it for me. Unfortunately, Coca Cola has not provided any screens in the venue. The stage is pretty far from the opposite end of the venue, so big screens need to be added ASAP!

    Great Performer - Poor 'Friends'

by Satyam on 2020-02-26Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

Tory Lanez was excellent and hype as always. He hyped up the place and played a bunch of his bangers / throwbacks, which was nice to see. Unfortunately, as this was the Chixtape5 tour, it was advertised as Tory Lanez + Friends and the only friend that showed up was Jessie Reyez. I know he mentioned it's tough because of border issues / it is a concert in Toronto but more was to be expected or get some more local guys to show up. I was less disappointed than many others in the audience but it's also disappointing to hear that his concert the night before/ two nights before had Chris Brown, T-Pain, Ja Rule etc. show up. Being a classic throwback album/concert, this was an opportune time to bring out artists we grew up on and love and this concert was announced months ago so it was disappointing. I enjoyed the concert nonetheless and he is an entertainer through and through.

Still waiting for the "And friends"...

    by P on 2020-02-26Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

I feel like the Toronto Show was finessed out of an experience! Both the LA and NY show got tons of additional acts and this was also expected at the TO show as Chixtapes was all about throwback artists. I dont normally leave reviews and have seen Tory before at places which as Rolling Loud but this felt different. Cant say i wasn't disappointed :(

    Not Great

by Nods on 2020-02-26Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

The performance was really boring. All he kept repeating was “left side put your hands up, right side put your hands up, 1–2-3 jump!” It was very repetitive. Also he did not sing much and when he did it was severely auto tuned.

    Venue isn’t great

by Claudia on 2020-02-26Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

Tory Lanez was amazing. However, we had seats right next to the stage and there was a security guard standing on the stage blocking our whole view. The way that he was positioned was so silly! He was right next to the huge speaker so it just blocked a lot of people view. There were plenty of places that he could have been standing that wouldn’t have blocked anyone’s view. Very frustrating

    Chixtape 5 Toronto

by Talliyahxo on 2020-02-26Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

Tory gave me a night to remember! He’s an amazing performer, he sounds just as incredible on stage as he does in his music. He kept me on my toes all night long. Would definitely recommend going to see him live if you ever get the chance, cause it was well worth it!

Waiting for a WOW factor... but it never came

by Sparks on 2020-02-26Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

The stadium: was cute, small and intimate. I disliked the fact that they didn't have big screens. Tory looked like a little action figure and that was from the 100 level. The headliner: She was whack, she couldn't sing at all. She sounded tone deaf. She had dancers with outfits. It was like girl pls... The concert: Tory CAN sing! He has by far the best part of the concert. He brought out Jessie Reyez... she wasn't on the album. That was the most disappointing part that NO ONE else from the album came especially when they showed up for his other shows. Would I pay to see Tory again? Probably not. Only if it was an intimate setting. The stage felt too big for Tory. There was no dancers no props no nothing just Tory.

    Underwhelming

by Julia lynn on 2020-02-26Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

Considering this was the artists FIRST sold out arena + his home town , + it is called Tory PLUS friendS , you’d expect there to be accompanying artist.

    Amazing!

by Amanda on 2020-02-26Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

Bought tickets last minute and it was the best decision I have ever made! Tory put on such an amazing interactive concert, I was blown away! He is such a humble person and great performer. I would 1000% go back to see him and buy even better seats!

    Tory Lanez and 1 friend

    by S. on 2020-02-26Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

Aside from a few ballads, most of his songs were performed with a back track of his vocals. I miss the days where R&B performers sang live in concert. Also, we were promised friends, Jessie Reyez came out (also sang very little, mostly a back track playing). He apologized on twitter saying they couldn’t get over the border, but that seems like poor planning or an excuse. I’m sure there were other Toronto based artists he could’ve brought on.

One one the worst shows I have ever attended

by Derek on 2020-02-26Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

I was exited to attend Tory Lanez’s concert. The show was supposed to start at 8:45 he came out at 9:45. He did a lot of lip syncing as well. Midway through the show he took a 10 minute break that totally killed the vibe. The fans where promised “friends” and we only received 1. All of the other cites received 5+. I am overall very disappointed with Tory Lanez’s concert and I am unlikely to see him again.

    So good

by Rad on 2020-02-26Coca-Cola Coliseum - Toronto

Best concert I’ve been to so far! I was in general admission and had the time of my life. Only wish doors were opened when they were advertised to be and not late.

    Good concert

by StephySweets on 2018-07-16MTELUS - Montreal

I've been going to alot of shows and I find that this one...the opening acts were boring and extremely long. 2 hours and more of boring performances. Last year, Kranium and Jacquees were lit though. Tory should choose better opening acts! Other than that, Tory show was great!

    Not the best

by Thata on 2018-07-16MTELUS - Montreal

The place is very small, has litteraly 0 seats and very bad lighting. However, Tory Lanez was doing his thing, okay!?!!! He also sang acapella and sounded very good!! But the best show I ever went to was at the centre bell Anti-tour:)
