  • Trans Siberian Orchestra was definitely amazing!

    by Wanky66 on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This is my second time seeing the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and it was just as good as the first time but with much better seats. Definitely worth going to!

  • This concert defines the word EPIC

by DennyChrist on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I walked into the ACC expecting a bunch of amazing christmas songs over a month early, and a light/laser show with it. Yes, the first half was Christmas songs, made to flow together through one man's story of an eventful Christmas, and it was beautiful. The second half became more intense, focusing on just wowing the audience with absolutely PERFECT songs strung together by solo's and other performances... all backed up by beautiful lasers, lights, pyrotechnics, and displays. The second half just kept sending goosebumps of amusement down my body. But to top it all off, the finale was absolutely, incomparably, PERFECTLY SPECTACULAR. Words cannot describe how absolutely stunning the finale was, I would have to say that if my money wasn't well enough spent on the rest of the concert (which it definitely was) the finale was worth quadruple of what I payed. This concert is EPIC in every bit of the meaning of the word. I LOVED IT. To top it all off, the lead violinist, a spectacular British chick, who head-banged while playing her pink electric violin, absolutely stole the show for me. So full of energy, energy you normally don't see in a violinist, but rather a hyperactive punk band. She proved to me that your own attitude can be put to use in even places where such an attitude normally doesn't belong. Being herself actually made the experience way better. Put simply, this concert is almost impossible to outdo, unless The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, or Michael Jackson were to be brought back for a concert in an Olympic-level event.

  • TSO is unique

by catteacher on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It was our first time seeing The Trans Siberian Orchestra. Unique blend of rock, pop, classical and amazing instrumentals. They played and played and sang and sang. The light show was superb and the pyrotechniques were cool! Excellent entertainment value and something different.

The beginning was a bit slow, but the second half was awesome. The lights and effects were first rate

  • Wow!!

by guitarglenn on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

What a treat for the senses! I have seen some great rock concerts, some super laser shows, and some unbelievable light shows. TSO put on an outstanding display of all of them. The sound was superb, regardless of the reputed accoustics at the ACC. The energy level was high and the show was full of passion and enthusiasm.

  • TSO way to go!

by Magicbird on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first TSO concert & it certainly will not be my last!. They were amazing. It was a complete show from the storyline told with so much meaning that it brought goosebumps to your skin, to the lazers, dancers & of course the music. What talent - I am now a huge fan!

  • the BEST TSO concert!

by LilGiggles on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my 6th time seeing TSO. I have seen them at Massey Hall, ACC and Copps Colliseum. This was the most AMAZING and unforgettable concert of theirs. Definitely going back again next year!!!!

  • Amazing show. Terrible Vnedor prices.

by NickCouper on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

T.S.O. An amazing group, doing an amazing show, doing great things. Not only do they use symphony members from the city that they travel to, but they also donate a dollar per ticket sold to a charity. At this show, they donated over $10 000 dollars! Wow! The laser show was incredible, the drum solo entrancing and the instrumental was top notch. The uniqueness of a narrator as well as an MC made the show even better. The only downfall to the entire show is the vendor. As anyone who has been to the Air Canada Center before knows, you will pay and continue to pay for any snacks or drinks you may wish to enjoy. a single bottle of water will cost you more than a case of 24 at the grocery store.

  • TSO rocked my Christmas!!

by DoubleDANG on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Trans Siberian Orchestra is an event for all who love rock n' roll, lasers, pyrotechnics, and last, but not least, Christmas. The band members did an amazing job composing all of your favorite Christmas tunes into a kick ass rock show. In my opinion the songs with the least singing were the most powerful and there were a few low energy power ballads that you will have to sit through. The second half of the show picks the energy back up and will keep you entertained until the end.

  • Amazing

by hotchic on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

This was one of the best concerts I have ever seen. The lights are amazing and the sound and quality of the overall concert was superb! There were a few songs from there new CD that I did not know, however the rest sounded just like that of the other CDs. The one downside, there was no intermission.

Strange, depressing and boring. We left early. It just was not what we expected.

  • by Kemo on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

A great show, wisely spent money and time. First part of concert was a little boring due to too many recitals. The performance of the guy with the bottle was a liitle too long and boring. The Wizard in winter saved the show. The second part was awesome, for memory. A complete spectacle. What a music and light show.

  • Amazing

by Mirjana on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Show was really amazing.I enjoyed every minute of it.The band deserved every dollar they have earned.

  • The show was fantastic!

by TangoFan on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was fantastic. I loved every moment of it. I like the idea of using classics and make them known by people who are not patrons of classical repertoire in its traditional form. I did like special features. Of course I was thrilled when the real fire spurred. But, in my opinion this was unnecessary. The performance of musicians and singers was so good, that it did not need to expose them to unnecessary danger from fire and endurance from heat. Seated at a big distance from the stage, I still could sense the warmth of torches. I believe this "warmth" was scorching at the proximity.

awesome everyone needs to see this show I will see this show again

  • by cr1234 on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was by far one of the most fantastic concerts that I have been to. The music was incredible, the light/lazer show was awesome and the pirotechnics were dazzling. I took my parents and my nine year old son and we all enjoyed the show immensely. We were all totally captivated for the entire three hours they played.

  • TransSiberian could use some fixing

    by Denise2929 on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

I am a fan of the TransSiberian Orchestra and have attended two of their past concerts which I enjoyed. However I didn't really enjoy their Toronto concert last night. They did their usual songs during the first half of the show on a Christmas theme, but the second half of the show had a hard rock theme which did not mesh with the first half. It was like watching two seperate shows. I suggest they stick to their Christmas themed program but introduce some new Christmas numbers. Also I prefer when the stage is in the centre of the auditorium as we had difficulty seeing with the stage setup to the right of the room.
