This concert defines the word EPIC
by DennyChrist on 2009-11-13Air Canada Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5I walked into the ACC expecting a bunch of amazing christmas songs over a month early, and a light/laser show with it. Yes, the first half was Christmas songs, made to flow together through one man's story of an eventful Christmas, and it was beautiful. The second half became more intense, focusing on just wowing the audience with absolutely PERFECT songs strung together by solo's and other performances... all backed up by beautiful lasers, lights, pyrotechnics, and displays. The second half just kept sending goosebumps of amusement down my body. But to top it all off, the finale was absolutely, incomparably, PERFECTLY SPECTACULAR. Words cannot describe how absolutely stunning the finale was, I would have to say that if my money wasn't well enough spent on the rest of the concert (which it definitely was) the finale was worth quadruple of what I payed. This concert is EPIC in every bit of the meaning of the word. I LOVED IT.
To top it all off, the lead violinist, a spectacular British chick, who head-banged while playing her pink electric violin, absolutely stole the show for me. So full of energy, energy you normally don't see in a violinist, but rather a hyperactive punk band. She proved to me that your own attitude can be put to use in even places where such an attitude normally doesn't belong. Being herself actually made the experience way better.
Put simply, this concert is almost impossible to outdo, unless The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, or Michael Jackson were to be brought back for a concert in an Olympic-level event.
