Having been a fan of the band for years, I jumped at the chance to go and see them. They put on a really good show. They played a lot of the old classics, which got the crowd on their feet dancing. Faster songs were alternated with slower one's well, which kept the show flowing. The backing band for the trio fitted in really well and showcased some excellent sax and drum playing. Time went so fast and next thing, it was the encore - final song: red red wine for a strong finish!. If you get the chance to see them live - go go go!8
Went to see them last night in Kitchener Ontario Canada and the boys brought their "A" game! Still buzzing!!
One of the best shows I have seen this year. The venue, sound, people, weather, atmosphere plus amazing tunes from UB40 made it all to be unforgettable! The venue was general entry..we were dancing in shallow water. Other parts of the venue had beach sand and grass- what more can you ask for.
Opening Act was not good at all but UB40 made up for it. Beautiful theatre, sound was a little boomy but I would do it all over again.
Absolutely wonderful concert! Band sounded great and performed a lot of my favorite songs. Loved the venue. Perfect spot for it .Hope UB40 comes back soon .They still got it! Great show!
UB 40 was awesome. It was a 2 hours intense experience.
Absolutely great show...... The sound production was almost as good a listening to a studio recording..... Great song selection.... something for every UB40 fan......wouldn't hesitate to snap up tickets if they come again. Seats were great. dead centre.one problem. would have had a great view if the row of seats had not been added right in front on the walk way. centre of the stage was missing as the guy who sat in front was tall and blocked my view. did not impress me
wow , we have good time.................................
Had a great time. They are truly a professional band. We really enjoyed ourselves. Wouldn't have missed this event for the world!
We had a great time at this concert. They are a professional band. Very talented. They entertained us with great music. Well worth going! Wouldn't have missed them for the world! Good music.
UB40 were my favourite group when i was younger and still lived in england, it was awesome to see them live, their voices have'nt changed a bit and i sang along to every song. CLASSIC BAND X
Their concert was magic! It would have been an even better concert if Ali had still been with the band however, it was still an exceptional gig. I didn't think UB40 was that popular in Canada until I saw the packed house! I grew up in the UK loving their music. I never got to see them in concert when I lived in the UK until I moved to Canada! Funny that!
Caesars Windsor was a fantastic venue with great seating! UB40 always puts on an incredible live show and they didn't disappoint this time around. My only complaint was that security held us back from dancing for more than half of the concert. I would go again in a hearbeat!
It was a fantastic show. We were 8 rows and center from the stage. Fabulous view. They didn't play all the songs that we would have liked but they have so many songs that they would have to be there all night to play them all but they still played alot of great songs. The security was a little too strict and even the band said for them to loosen up but they didn't. But all in all a fantastic show and would go see them again if we had the chance.
I have seen ub40 eight times every time is outsanding even without Ali they are truly the best reggae band on the planet...p.s...still miss his voice.
They were just as good as they were 30 years ago. Loved hearing all the old familiar favourites like Boom Shacka Lacka and Cherrie Oh Baby. The drums and instruments were fantastic. Brought the riddim larger than life reminiscent of Bob Marley and Johnny Nash. Did not want the show to end.
my wife and I saw them play over 20 years ago. it was our first concert together so we thought we would relive some old memories for nostalgia sake. we were very impressed with the whole experience. the group sounded just like they did 20+ years ago and they had the house jumpin great to see them again and wont wait so long to do it again that's for sure
