    When every seat in the house is filled and every standing-room space is occupied, you have the setting for big-time college ball. That was the case last Friday night in Buffalo. The Student Section provided a perfect backdrop for the event.

    The Bulls play in the MAC. This is good college ball in a competitive conference. it's not Kentucky, Carolina, or the 'Cuse, but the product on the floor is not inferior, the cheerleaders and student section are just as involved, the game atmosphere is first-rate, and you get all of that for less than half the price, the ticket and the concessions, and the parking is free. I've been to games up-and-down Tobacco Road, at Kentucky and Louisville, etc., but going to see the Bulls play Ohio the other nite was just as much fun as I've had at any of the big-time programs, so much so that I'm going back tonite. This well-coached team is a fine gem.
