Vancouver Canucks History
The Vancouver Canucks started play in 1970, entering the league along with the Buffalo Sabres. Vancouver has been to the Stanley Cup Final on three occasions, though they lost to the New York Islanders in 1982, the New York Rangers in 1994 and the Boston Bruins in 2011.
Despite humble beginnings, the Canucks continued to develop. With the arrival of three key players—Captain Trevor Linden, netminder Kirk McLean, and "the Russian Rocket" Pavel Bure, the Canucks had a winning Playoff run season—making it to the 1994 finals.
The Canucks continued to acquire superstars like Alexander Mogilny and Markus Näslund, and while the following years meant a series of losses, it allowed for the team to draft Henrik and Daniel Sedin, who would go on to lead the Canucks to Presidents' Trophies in back-to-back seasons in 2010-11 and 2011-12, as well as their finals appearance in 2011.

I really like it. It was funny and i focused all game time.
The game was really good, but I feel that that they could step up the fan experience! I felt that the intro was lacking suspense (maybe bring back U2) and it was also lacking those graphics that hype fans up like other NHL arenas! Maybe to bring some extra hype to the game introduce a band like the Seattle Kraken which automatically brings a fun energy to the building
The arena is cool but poorly signposted. Was there for the first time and took 10 minutes to find my block. I dug into the stuff and was sent in the wrong direction twice. The prices are outrageously expensive. Paid $24 after tax for a large beer. The show put on by those responsible is absolutely fantastic. The animations on the video cube are also unique. The Canucks left no stone unturned to create good vibes and get the crowd pumped. The atmosphere in the arena was good, but compared to the atmosphere at the games in Germany it was a joke. I was a bit disappointed, cause I was on fire and shouting all the time, but everyone around me was quiet. And in the end they said the mood was really great today... It was a nice experience though. But way too expensive!
Had an amazing time bringing my parents to experience a Canucks game!
Parking was insane - but overall it was an interesting and good experience. The crowd was amazing, everyone there was also really friendly. It was interesting to see an NHL game and be sitting so close to the action as well.
Great atmosphere great game almost won the 50/50. First game of 2022 fun time
Very nice arena, great amenities and tons of food and drink options
Excellent time EXCEPT the PARKING and TRAFFIC is horrendous!!! Over 30 mins to get to arena and then another 20 to find parking! Then a10 minute walk!!! If your attending an event at this Arena, give yourself at least an hour and a half to before event time!!! Nasty situation!!
Was easy to get in and great seating for the price. Kids first Canucks game and it was a blast!
The game was good, the stadium was as well. As long as the puck was in play, it was a great evening. Sadly between plays and between periods, the music was so loud we could not talk, discuss the game and share the experience. The bass was so heavy we could feel it, the volume was so loud and breaking up from over pushing the sound system it sounded sick. A couple videos played between periods, I could not even understand the audio in them. I measured the sound level on my phone, 108-110dB. I bought tickets to a hockey game, not a concert. I don't think I'd return here for another hockey game.
For a preseason game this had us on the edge of our seats. We enjoyed watching the Canucks top line ups
A perfect family night out! The entire arena was buzzing. Thank you Abbotsford!!
First game with my girlfriend of five years and couldn’t of been better. She enjoyed her self so much she wants to go to more games.
Best preseason game i have ever watched! Superstars scored goals and a great atmosphere for hockey in Abbotsford!
The music was extremely loud. Management of the Abbotsford Centre need to look at this. Music level and half the decibels would be fine. Music continued to play well after the puck was dropped. Very poor. No more games here for me if this doesn't change. Head ache and ear ache still prevails 3 days later.
Was pleasantly suprirsed. Our first event here- venue was clean, and was well staffed. Staff were friendly nd helpful. The venue has realastic parking which was amazing! The canucks game itself was a lot of fun. The seats were uncomfortable but thats common now in any arena! Overall it was a pretty fun game!
National reconciliation day ceremony before the game was well put together as well so was the traditional chant/song that was made to specifically to cast out any remaining bad energy, feelings and begin to reconcile from the tragic events of our past. The arena was clean, well staffed, with a large variety of food and beverage vendors throughout the arena. Go Canucks Go
Deafening. Drunk blowhards screaming at players and refs. Fans watching the screen to see themselves rather than the game. Complete focus on horrible noise, overamped announcers, bad music, pointless audience games, and to top it off, a screaming idiot banging a drum in our stairway. It had nothing to do with hockey. Some of the worlds best players on the ice but the focus was on the screen at center ice. It was stressful, disappointing, annoying, and not a hockey game, more of an arcade for 14 year olds.
Loved it, friendly staff lovely people. Even though we lost we had a great time!!
Watching the Canucks play at Rogers arena for the first time was an amazing experience. From the amazing game to the fun games they played on the jumbotron, there was never a boring moment. Would 100% recommend.
