Vancouver Canucks History
The Vancouver Canucks started play in 1970, entering the league along with the Buffalo Sabres. Vancouver has been to the Stanley Cup Final on three occasions, though they lost to the New York Islanders in 1982, the New York Rangers in 1994 and the Boston Bruins in 2011.
Despite humble beginnings, the Canucks continued to develop. With the arrival of three key players—Captain Trevor Linden, netminder Kirk McLean, and "the Russian Rocket" Pavel Bure, the Canucks had a winning Playoff run season—making it to the 1994 finals.
The Canucks continued to acquire superstars like Alexander Mogilny and Markus Näslund, and while the following years meant a series of losses, it allowed for the team to draft Henrik and Daniel Sedin, who would go on to lead the Canucks to Presidents' Trophies in back-to-back seasons in 2010-11 and 2011-12, as well as their finals appearance in 2011.

I fell in love with this team the first time I went to a game and every time I go it’s like I fall in love again. Amazing times crazy p makes the experience
I have not watched the game since pandemic starts. This is the first time I went back after the pandemic! There was a huge difference from precious games Canucks games I watched! Loud music, good DJ , lots of games, etc! Just fun!
We took our kids to their first NHL game (5 and 6 years old). The host at our seats asked if it was their first game and then directed us to customer service where they received some really cute little gifts. They had an absolute blast, even though they didn’t make the whole game. Way past bed time! My husband and I always enjoy Canucks games at Rogers!
Great evening of hockey entertainment. Canucks came out firing in first period displaying their competitiveness and skills. Second period they got on their back feet and let the Kracken in to score a few goals. But in period 3 it was all Canucks! Exciting offensive game! Great fun to be a part of!
Need some new seats and cup holder to have a perfect event
This is my first time watching hockey game!! It was amazing! I became a big fan of Canucks team!!
The game was great it was a super fun time. Prices were okay. Pretty expensive like you would expect an event to be. The game was awesome though so no complaints
It was good and had Lots of fun and amazing fans a staff
Fantastic atmosphere, arena staff helpful & the best part is, the Canucks win!
Great night, great game and arena. Facilities are wonderful and lighting and special effects on rink are amazing.
An exciting game to enjoy from first puck drop until the final buzzer! A full Canucks team effort to keep the pressure on their opponents and turn a few offensive opportunities into goals! Well done Canucks! You’re still alive in the play off race! Keep going!
Gr8 venue and fun to be there when Van is winning, very good food and beverage services, affordable ticket prices, young talent and skill Vancouver players show is amazing, combined with game sense betting creates an electric experience!
lives the atmosphere, lights flashing. happy energy. Good food service at seats👍
We had great seats, and loved the pre-show. I had my grandchildren with me, and so would’ve loved to hear the marching band a little more! They were excellent! We all enjoyed the contests involving the audience, as well, and the gift giving of the shirts was exciting, too! Parking was easy and affordable and coming early enough to be able to grab a hotdog over at Costco for $1.50 without waiting was also a huge part of the whole show experience! I bought my tickets as part of a Xmas gift for my grandchildren who love the Canucks, and so I didn’t realize then that, as a teacher, we could’ve bought tickets and received a free hotdog and (me) a beer. That was a very nice touch, honouring the teachers that night, as well. We needed more direction, though, as to how to connect on the Canucks app with the question contest! We couldn’t find how to locate the connection with the interactive game/ contests on line using the app. Please, a little more direction there! Otherwise, even in spite of their loss, we loved our experience, coming all the way from Mission to watch the Canucks at Roger Stadium!! Go, Canucks! Go!! Teacher Granny

Well, I have been to a game is about 7 to 8 yrs, so I though I'd try again. Game was just average, lost 5-1 but sure not worth the $200 I spent on the seat. Bit of a novelty seeing the usual game stuff happen but I have to admit it's way more enjoyable on tv (sorry). Commentating, replay's, forgot how quiet it is there when they are playing. Not crazy about the dj's in the intermission, no reaction with the player's anymore, sad for sure, during warm up etc. WAY overpriced food, so scary for sure and Canuck jersey's, wow! $280, and I thought for sure they would be made in Canada, but when I looked at the tag, nope! You think at that price you'd want to employ Canadian worker's, keep it local, guess not. You know the saying, will be staying home or a pub to watch games now..
The staff are amazing! Friendly and helpful. Rogers Arena is easy to get to! The energy was hot
The seats were in the 323 section row 15 seat 7 and 8 both were centred and very good. There was one empty seat so the room was good. I would buy the seats again if they were the same price. I can’t watch a hockey game unless they are centred. It doesn’t matter lower bowl or the 323 level.
The Canucks were 10/10 But two members of the ice cleaning staff were up in the stands for a the warm up near the benches. They were both wearing their passes and trying to squeeze out paying patrons to get photos. Later in the night I seen them with a shovel on the ice cleaning. Seems like they are taking advantage of being an employee and taking opportunities away from paying patrons. Unacceptable
