A great concert with easy access by train or bus..
THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY Summer... had the best time ever. THere were so many unforgetable moments, great people and great bands playing.. i cant wait until next year
This concert was AMAZING! If I could, I would go every single day. Obviously, I'll go next year since I fell in love with all the music there more than I already loved it. Being at home and listening to your music is COMPLETELY different from going to a concert and feeling your whole body vibrate from the action on stage. It was definitely worth my sunburn, leg crams and pulled muscle (in my jaw xP) I'm sure people who don't like this type of music would enjoy it too.
This year's Warped tour was th ebest one yet. With an amazing lineup, and great organization, it truly was A Day to Remember. There were amazing bands playing at the show, and a vast array of people. It's sad to think that I have to wait another full year until the next show, but I know next year's will be even bettter.
This was my first year going and it was amazing! Seen some bands I love and found some new great bands :)
I had a blast at Warped Tour this weekend, the bands were awesome and the music was fantastic, a vast improvement from the emo direction of the past few years. Although the venue was a disappointment, the show managed to overcome, leaving a lasting good impression.
the show was pretty sick, especially certain bands like 3Oh!3, Less than Jake, NOFX, Alexisonfire and The Flatliners. The only drawback is that it was really hot and there wasn't a lot of shade, and that a lot of the headlining bands were pretty old. My friends didn't care for Bad Religion or Flogging Molly and so we didn't even stay until the end of a very long but fun day.
Warped was amazing this year!! Underoath, Escape the Fate, Gallows, Silverstein, Alexisonfire, A Day To Remember, etc. were absolutely insane.
Bands were great, the weather was fantastic. All in all the day was pretty awesome. We saw some truly great bands, 3oh3, Alexisonfire, Less Than Jake, Escape the Fate to name a few.
Soo glad I went this year, finally an amazing lineup :)
Warped tour was the most amazing experience of my life, the highlight of my summer and I will never forget how amazing it was. I f you're reading this, I should be screaming at the top of my lungs:"Go!" It was just unreal. You can get autographs from all your favourite bands and you can actually meet them.
Warped Tour 09 was another great year of great bands giving their best for the fans!
An amazing time, lots of crowds lots of heat, but way more energy then any show I've ever been too, and although it was tough to decide between acts from time to time, the fact that I had to chose still made me feel amazing, although physically demanding I wouldn't trade my warped tour experience for the world, an amazing day, and one I hope to repeat in the years to follow
Weather was great, easily accessible venue and lots of free parking.A nice mixture of bands, will be back next year.
The Vans Warped Tour blew me away yet again this year. So many amazing bands, such an amazing crowd all over the venue! Every set I watched was so amazing, I can't pick out one to write about. But the only downside to this Warped Tour is alot of great bands were on at the SAME TIME. What's this all about? I missed Alexisonfire because I was 10th in line for a meet and greet with Chiodos which started 15 minutes after Alexisonfire began. But the meet and greet didn't ACTUALLY begin until Alexisonfire was on their very last song. Also, I couldn't watch Jeffree Star because Escape The Fate was on, nor cold I watch all of brokeNCYDE because I Set My Friends On Fire were on just shortly after. Water was also very, very expensive, but I did not mind that much. I got all mine for free, haha. All I really have to say was, "VANS WARPED TOUR 2009 WAS ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING WARPED'S I HAVE BEEN TO YET!" I anticipate Warped Tour's Sweet Sixteen. : ) ♥ Rock on!
Full of entertainment and merchandise! Completely unforgettable. It was a very warm day out as well but very enjoyable nonetheless. The bands reached out to the crowds with their persuasive words, attitude and amazing music! It was upbeat and great!!!
I had so much fun at warped tour!! It has to be one of my favourite concerts that I have been to in my mere eighteen years of life :) Being a noob i was a little bit scared going I have to admit, I had heard about crazy mosh pits from my friends and didn't want to have to make an extra trip to the hospital on top of the hour and a half trek home. I was surprised as to how tame some of the crowds were, it was actually not as crazy as some other shows i've been to. I loved the line-up this year although there were people complaining that it sucked, i thought that it rocked. The signing table line-ups did get a bit big and hard to walk around, but give it up for the dedicated fans to make sure they meet their favourite bands. I was so excited that I got to meet two of my favourite bands Breathe Carolina and the Millionaires. I like all the merch tables, they had good deals and tons of awesome swag. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars was because i thought that there wasn't enough garbage cans; there was litter everywhere, i feel bad about leaving garbage on the ground, but walking around with it forever looking for a garbage can, i'm not going to hold onto it anymore, sad to say because i'm usually not that kind of person. On the sheet with all of the set lists, on the map side there was a misprint, they had forgot the Skullcandy stage, so me and my friend were walking everywhere to find the stage with five minutes to spare until Brokencyde took the stage, but luckily we finally found someone who knew where it was, and made it there. The music was live and the weather was fantastic, couldn't have been a better way to spend july 10th! I wish it wasn't over, I'm reliving the moments in my mind. I can't wait until next year!!
it was pretty awesome. a little hot and dirty but still worth the money. i got to see a ton of bands i really enjoy and check out cool merch. it's a neat atmosphere because you can actually meet the artists around throughout the day. only problems were the over pricing of food/drinks and the lack of variety. they sort of take advantage of the situation because you're not allowed to bring drinks or food in and you can't leave. other than that, it was a fun time. highlights were alexisonfire, senses fail, gallows, versaemerge, a day to remember and nofx.
This year was my first Warped Tour, and I can honestly say it was everything I expected and more. The grounds were huge with an incredible amount of quality bands, music, merchandise, and events. If you're a fan of punk rock, metal, and alternative this is definitely the place to go. 3OH!3, Alexisonfire, and UnderOath were all incredible. The only downside to this day was the fact that I came home extremely burnt. =)
Just like it should be. An amazing day to discover new bands, and enjoy the ones you love. Wear sunblock :)
