Chromeo, the funk-electronic DJ duo composed of David "Dave 1" Macklovitch and Patrick "P-Thugg" Gemayel, have been churning out catchy dancefloor additions since forming in 2002. Beginning as high school bandmates in Montreal, Canada, the pair combined their appreciation for ‘80s funk, pop and R&B with a mutual studio savvy that leaned more toward hip-hop production. Dave 1 and P-Thugg debuted as Chromeo on 2004’s She’s in Control featuring their first major single “Needy Girl,” followed by Fancy Footwork (2007) and Business Casual (2010). The duo’s 2014 album White Women pushed Chromeo into wider mainstream acclaim, debuting at No. 11 on the Billboard 200 and boasting their single “Jealous (I Ain't with It)," which peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. Chromeo’s 2018 follow-up Head Over Heels added to the duo’s accolades with their first Grammy nomination for Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. In 2021, Chromeo showcased their vibrant onstage personas with their first concert album, Date Night: Chromeo Live!

That was a great show. I would definitely go see them again.
Amazing concert! Chromeo really know how to work a crowd and their positive energy is infectious! They played songs across all their albums and some new ones. Overall, sounded amazing and the lighting set up was sick! Go see Chromeo if you want to have a good time and dance all night! Also their opener Ric Wilson was awesome too!
amazing show, the set was great, the music was great, the vibe was great. 10/10
One of the best shows I have seen! Will be going to see them next time for sure!
It was great to hear Chromeo live! Very impressive sound. A short set list which included a range of their albums. Really thought it would be a longer concert - especially since they began two hours later than the ticket time. I know that typically the main goes on after an opener (who was actually really great), but it still took rather long to get started. Sat in the Mezzanine but was disappointed that one individual in one of the front rows of the area stood the whole time. There was a reason behind purchasing seats instead of General Admission and I wish that had been considered by other guests since it was selfish concert etiquette. Doesn’t speak to the performance but rather venue choice I guess. Would happily attend another Chromeo concert as it was a good time.
Chromeo was a lot of fun for our first time. They brought some great energy and really got the crowd in it. We danced most of the night. I would say live music is always better with a real drummer to keep a feel and create a more natural experience.
These guys are amazing live, never disappoint! They are on top of their game, and fill the stage and the room impressively for a duo. And Chromeo was made for the Danforth Music Hall and vice versa. Amazing venue, amazing crowd, amazing team. Can´t wait for the next one.
A few things you can always count on at a Chromeo show: - two step - crowd participation - making friends with people around you Always a mix of old and new, hits and deep cuts. Cheesy, intelligent lyrics set to jams you can’t help but dance to. You’ll get sweaty, your cheeks will hurt from smiling, and you’ll wake up knowing you left it all on the dancefloor. Toronto loves you Chromeo, and so do I! FUNKFOREVER
I think Chromeo could have added at least 6 more songs to their set if they just stopped talking, trying to hype themselves up to the audience. Dave 1 actually threatened to leave the show because the crowd didn't cheer loud enough when he shouted out their upcoming album. The audience was pumped and ready for a dance party, instead it was interrupted every 2-3 songs for more talking about themselves. Boo overall.
The band was awesome, the venue was great and Chromeo is fantastic. highly recommended
