Beautiful, poetic music and expressive, athletic dancing in perfect combination!
Forget about 'Dancing With the Stars' or 'World of Dance' - Wow! Montreal Ballet sizzles with energy, original choreography and talent, all celebrating the wondrous music of Leonard Cohen, and his poetry/music. I would see this again in a heartbeat!
Fabolous show . Me Cohen would be very proud of the accomplishments. Terrific dancers, creativity and know how.
Was awesome as usual with any musical artist and the ballet. We have gone to the last 4 and never been disappointed. A lot of people would who don't normally go to the ballet like myself before will be surprised. The athleticism is off the charts.
Beautiful dance, amazing dancers and wonderful music. The show was 80 minutes with no intermission. This was perfect - a break would of interfered with the continuity of the performance.
High energy!! Lighting director was absolutely amazing. Music was wonderful.
This ballet is one of the best we've seen. The music of course is superb, but the dancers move like nothing I've seen before. Truly spectacular.
Incredible lineup of dancers and the choreography was fabulous
This was one of the best modern dance performances I have ever seen. The combination of Cohen’s words and music along with the choreography, the staging and lighting techniques made for an unforgettable evening. Such beauty of form from the dancers. One piece flowed so beautifully into the next. The evening seemed to be over in a flash.
Enjoyed the performance immensely, but disappointed by the choice for the final act. Would've expected them to use a vocal recording of Cohen singing, especially as that final number is such a powerful and iconic song. The live singers who attempted it weren't bad, they just weren't as powerful as he would've been, even in a recording. Some of the other songs took my breath away. Beautiful artistic work overall. Phenomenal dancing and interpretation. Just wanted to hear the man himself for that final number.
