Vir Das is an Emmy-winning comedian, actor, and one of the most global voices in stand-up today. The New York Times raves, "No artist embodies the globalization of stand-up like Vir Das." His recent Netflix comedy special, Fool Volume, which he also directed, has earned praise from Vulture as "a uniquely sumptuous experience." His previous special, Landing, premiered to universal acclaim and won the 2023 International Emmy Award for Best Comedy, following his first nomination for Vir Das: For India in 2021.
This fall, Vir makes his literary debut with his memoir, The Outsider--A story that follows his journey as a perpetual outsider, using humor to navigate heartbreak, failure, and the quest for belonging.
As India's biggest stand-up comedian and a Bollywood star, Vir continues to break barriers and sell out venues worldwide. He has performed over 180 shows across the globe, including a celebrated run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and headlines major stages from Carnegie Hall in New York to the Eventim Apollo in London.
Beyond stand-up, Vir has created, produced, and starred in multiple acclaimed projects, including the ABC drama-comedy Whiskey Cavalier, the Netflix thriller Hasmukh, and Amazon's travel series Jestination Unknown. He appeared in Judd Apatow's Netflix feature The Bubble and is developing several new film and TV projects. When he's not on screen or stage, Vir fronts India's premier comedy-rock band, Alien Chutney.

He was so cool !! So fun and a great night out ! House full to watch his amazing act !
I've watched this guy progressing steadily since the last couple of years. Totally worth the money, everytime I decide to watch him live.
The man had so many jokes coming in one after the other. Laughter fest! Loved it. One of the best performances I've seen by a stand up comedian.
It was the first time that I saw Vir Das in person and it was an amazing experience.
he's a smart, passionate storyteller - his comedy is not gimmicky, it's a truth-telling exercise wrapped in the exterior of a gut wrenching joke but with the content of a philosopher. 1000x recommend.
Watching Vir Das is always amazing, an evening full of laughters, giggles and self realization. Vir Das deserves an applause for his intelligent comedy instead of just random mediocre comedy by some self claimed great comedians.
Watching him live was an absolute fun. He just brings humour and smart comedy like no one else. Bow down!!
I feel that the people sitting in the first row need to be given some orientation before the show. Constant interruptions by papa ki pari (as rightfully described by Vir) sitting in the first row was a bit annoying..otherwise i had a lot of fun during the show. Fyi: I was sitting in the second row right behind the papa ki pari
Loved his humour, writing and style of comedy. A definite recommend
