  • Almost perfect!

    by René B on 2025-06-17Centre Videotron - QuebecRating: 4 out of 5

Le montage du site et l'expérience ont été presque parfaites. Il y a une seule chose à améliorer : le système de son! Il était souvent diff de comprendre les paroles de l'animatrice de foule.

I love volleyball and they really made it a great event to watch! Would have enjoyed having better food with more access the lineups were intense and the prices steep but overall I had a great time watching the VNL at centre videotron

This was an amazing experience in Centre videotron here in Quebec city, my wife and I enjoyed a lot, the ambient was wonderful with a great sport bar to pass the time between matches.

  • Belle organisation

Très bel organisation! Super tableau indicateur. Dommage que le grand marché était fermé pour augmenter l’offre alimentaire près du Centre Vidéotron. Il faudrait améliorer le son de l'animateur de foule et le micro du chanteur entre les parties.

  • Awesome event!

by Waylon on 2023-09-25Edmonton EXPO Centre - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

We went as a group of 12 with my family, plus some friends. Our seats were right at the front row opposite the team bench and at the corner behind the serve line which gave us a great view of everything. Would've been nice to have a beverage stand open on our end though, there was only one open and it was all the way on the other side. Other than that it was an awesome experience overall.

  • Volleyball served and spiked

by FRANKIET on 2018-05-27Edmonton EXPO Centre - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Enjoy the games and event. Did find the price of tickets a little high when you weren't allowed in to all events for the given day. Biggest issue I have is that it was so poorly advertised in Edmonton. In fact I heard absolutely nothing about the event until the day it started. There is no excuse for it not being made public so that the community could come and actually enjoy it. 2nd complaint that I have is that there wasn't more access to the upper level tournament draws. I not talking about he national team events, I referring to the 16 year and up games as some of them were very good and should have been show cased in a similar way as the national team events were.

  • Amazing level of play to see live!

by Buckwheat12 on 2016-01-15Saville Community Sports Centre - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

Had a great time watching this game but never got to our seats on time because of parking. Ended up having a fabulous line of site standing up from behind the railing and we didn't want to miss a minute looking for our seats so watched the whole game standing up. We were so pumped to be watching what we hoped would be our Olympic contenders in action. (Maybe Japan!) The game was amazing. This facility was really nice as well but the parking was horrendous. Had 30 minutes to park and get into building but it was not enough. Have a truck and as had to follow people to their vehicles and wait for them to pull out. Many times before I got parked someone stole my spot as they were quicker with little cars and everyone was desparate for a spot plus pedestrians everywhere. A LOT of road rage in that parking lot! Would give it a 5 star except for the parking.

  • Great Volleyball - But bad on Saville

by Kris10Ja9 on 2016-01-13Saville Community Sports Centre - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

The volleyball played was awesome! The intensity has high, the crowd was excited, I went on Saturday so Canada won. It was great. Half the crowd left for the second game but that's ok - their loss. My issue was with seating. I think they oversold seats. I bought long side seats and when we got there at 1pm (game at 1:30) everywhere we looked for available seating in the long side section were taken or "being saved". We eventually convinced one of the workers to let us sit in premium seating, telling her that if people with premium tickets showed up she could tell us to move. Nobody ended up showing up but it was frustrating. If there are X Number of Long Side Seats then ONLY that number of long side seats should be allowed to be sold. Plus there was nothing stopping you from standing so I'm sure several people bought the cheapest seats and then just stood along the long side anyways.

  • Lack of seating/parking

by Natalaya on 2016-01-13Saville Community Sports Centre - EdmontonRating: 2 out of 5

I've always been disappointed with the lack of parking space at the saville centre, but this time it was very frustrating to see people who paid good money for tickets not even get to sit down! There were obviously more tickets sold than the space could handle. People were standing to watch the event, we ended up finding plastic benches. Loved the game, it was very entertaining, but I would never attend an event here again.

  • Good Volleyball, horrible venue!

by Drad996 on 2016-01-13Saville Community Sports Centre - EdmontonRating: 1 out of 5

The Volleyball was good entertainment, unfortunately the venue is horrible. The Saville Center is definitely not capable of hosting this many people. The parking is horrendous, huge line-ups for water/snacks at the ONE concession stand, and we ended up standing for the five hours we were there due to the sections we bought tickets in being full. The general admission section ticket holders are allowed to sit anywhere, so the people with the cheaper tickets would sit in the better sections, jamming them full. It also appeared that more tickets were sold than seats.

  • Great atmosphere

I was amaze by the large crowd. Great atmosphere. I had a great time.

  • volleyball at Saville

by charsam on 2015-09-04Saville Community Sports Centre - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

While the volleyball was great to watch, the process to enter the venue was not well thought out. We purchased our tickets online and stood in an extremely long lineup to collect them at will call. Others who were buying tickets at the door, bypassed the lineup and got much better seats.

To see the best team in the world play here in my home city was a great experience. Although Canada lost to Brazil it was still awesome.
