WALK OFF THE EARTH GO

AROUND THE WORLD IN 30 DAYS

FRONTWOMAN SARAH BLACKWOOD EXPECTING THIRD CHILD THIS FALL

Award-winning and multi-platinum-selling Canadian superstars Walk off the Earth have announced a 30-day tour across three continents.

The 25-date summer trek will begin in Canada before continuing onto the United States and Erope and will conclude with the first Australian shows of the band’s illustrious career.

The band will then head home to Toronto where bandleaders Sarah Blackwood and Gianni Luminati will welcome their third child together.

“I wonder if I will ever tour again and not be pregnant,” said Blackwood, who has toured extensively while expecting sons Giorgio (3) and Luigi (1).

“Walk off the Earth has always been one big happy family.  The more the merrier.  We just really can’t wait to get back on the road,” added founding member and lead vocalist Ryan Marshall.

Walk off the Earth has captured their fans’ attention with organic and authentic songwriting and positive, energetic sound.  The eccentric 5-piece from Burlington, Ontario continue to find new ways of keeping their music fresh by blending rock, reggae, pop and folk.

Touring in support of their most recent original release, “Fire in My Soul,” fans can expect to be wildly entertained by the band’s one-of-a-kind live show and combination of original hits and cover songs.

WOTE, bringing the fun back to rock!

by GenXhippie on 2013-04-14The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Though visibly exhausted after their European tour, WOTE delivered a solid performance. Getting to listen to more of their own music was a real treat. Performances from their Youtube repertoire is a definite crowd-pleaser, and interjects some light-hearted fun. Great fun overall, and hope to see them again soon!

    Walk off the Earth amazing!!

by Ameli on 2013-04-14The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

WOTE is amazing and as expected they didn't disappoint! Sarah was adorable with her pregnant belly and the band was full of amazing energy. Their talent always amazes me. I will definitely see them again and if it's at the same venue I would do general admission instead of balcony seats. We loved the show but being so far back we felt we were missing out on the energy going on down below. We loved that we could have a couple of drinks while watching the show and that cell cameras were allowed. Overall, great experience.

Walk off the Earth was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!

All five band members are so talented! They are not just great musicians but great performers and each band member has a unique stage presence that they uphold throughout the performance. I had a great time and was entertained and excited from start to finish. They were personable with the audience and really the most incredible people. The concert was awesome and I am definitely buying tickets the next time they come to Toronto!

Band seemed drunk... opening act was painful

by Audience1234 on 2012-09-22The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Band started well but only played 2 of their more popular songs. Seemed disorganized and the use of profanity was unacceptable and out of character. I understand having fun but I have heard Eddie Murphy use the f word less. Seemed very amateurish, we expected more overall professionalism. A few younger kids in audience as well which was surprising but over all not a good performance. The bank seemed drunk or high and the sound over all was poor. Sarah Blackburn the singer of the band was the only standout.
