Weezer came out and rocked the ACC last night, following three warm-up bands, including Motion City, illScarlet and Jacks Mannequin. Motion City started off with an energetic set, illScarlet (homeboys!) made my son say he had to add them to his computer playlist! Jacks Mannequin appeared to have only 3/4s of the band show up, bringing down the energy level before the start of Weezer.
Weezer was Phenomenal!!! They rocked it out!! LOVED it when Rivers came out into the croud and played "i'm your daddy". Then they played a cover by MGMT and Lady Gaga which blew my mind!!! I definitely would see them again in a heart Beat!! Love you Guys!!!
These little pigglets can entertain! Thank you Weezer. Even up in the back row they rocked! Loved your playlist with all our favourites - too numerous to mention. And hey we are in to being amused and you deliverered SHOW-MAN-SHIP with a capital W. Hashpipe to group drum-a-long - truly amazing!
The show was awesome!!! The venue was fantastic, all the bands were great! We really enjoyed the show. Weezer was awesome, best live performance of Weezer we have seen!!!
the sound was great - it was unique how he kept showing up in place just when you noticed he was missing
We went to see Ill Scarlet and Weezer we were not disappointed. Ill Scarlet rocked the place and especially weezer. I wish it never ended!
Dope concert! really hope they come back soon. the best band ive ever heard live
Enjoyed the whole show. Unfogettable. Once Weezer got up on stage Rivers just got the whole crowd going. Everyone was into it. I especially liked when he picked a random person out of the crowd to sing a song with him.
We loved Weezer live! It's great when you know most of the songs, most of the crowd stood, danced and sang throughout the show! Rivers is a great performer - he makes the show! He did seem a little distracted, missed some lyrics (on a couple occasions he said 'opps screwed up the lyrics again'...) and seemed to put the act ahead of executing the song. Loved the encores (2), especially the way they finished with a 5 way drum solo - awesome! Overall we had a blast! Should have come to the concert for 10:00pm, when Weezer came on stage. The front bands were ok, but we had to wait way to long for them to get through their sets.
The entire event was pretty sweet!! The opening bands were pretty good. Jack's Mannequin was incredible (bias here because I love them and original bought the ticket because they were gonna be there). Weezer knows how to put on a show!! From the minute they stepped on stage until their last encore song they never stopped entertaining....good music, good show!
