About

Weird Al brings his legendary full-production multimedia comedy rock show back to the concert stage with the BIGGER & WEIRDER 2025 Tour, playing his iconic hits as well as some never-performed-live-before fan favorites. Al's long-time band is joined by four additional players to create a super-sized concert experience.

"Weird Al" Yankovic is the biggest-selling comedy recording artist in history. A 5-time Grammy Award winner, he is best known for his parodies of the biggest musical artists over the last 4 decades. His many hits include "Amish Paradise," "Eat It," "Like a Surgeon," "Smells Like Nirvana," "Word Crimes," and the platinum-selling "White & Nerdy." His last album Mandatory Fun is the only comedy album in history to debut at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. Weird Al's live shows have entertained audiences across the globe for generations. In 2022, Yankovic produced and co-wrote the Emmy-winning biopic WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story, starring Daniel Radcliffe in the title role.

  • Weird Al is a wonderful experience

by Jonovision on 2022-07-13Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 4 out of 5

He played all of his most unpopular songs and I couldn’t be happier. He’s done his famous cover songs so many times. This was such a wonderful show. Only complaint is that they stopped snack service once Weird Al took the stage. I just wanted to buy a bottle of water. That’s it! They wouldn’t let me. What a joke. Very annoyed at True North Sports for this. I just wanted a bottle of water and they wouldn’t sell it to me.

Weird Al is a legend for a reason and this show provides definitive proof why he's still relevant all these years later. Genius and hilarious and the most fun I've had in ages!! Love you, Al!

  • Fantastic Weird Al

by ColinOnTheGroove on 2022-07-05The Centre in Vancouver - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

I've been a fan of Weird Al since I was a little kid, early on in his career. I FINALLY got to see him live for the first time the other day. Such a treat! Such great musicians! Such a great live experience! Thank you Weird Al! We love you!

  • For the true fans of Al's original music

by ronstew on 2022-07-05The Centre in Vancouver - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Except in the encore medley, Al does not perform his most popular works - his parodies. You wanna hear "My Bologna?" You won't. "Yoda?" Just a phrase in the encore. "The Saga Begins?" Nope. "Fat?" Uh-uh. "Another One Rides the Bus?" It is to laugh. Al and his band are great musicians. And the light show was the the best I have ever seen. Oh, and at least five times, the lyrics have gory murders and attacks. Not my bag. Emo Philips was the opening act. I enjoyed that.

  • This could (and should) have been a streaming concert

by OfficeBob on 2022-07-05The Centre in Vancouver - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Part of the enjoyment in seeing "Weird Al" live is his manic energy and how he's almost always in motion. I know we're all getting older, and maybe he can't bounce around like he used to, but listening to him sing while he sits on a stool - albeit with the occasional arm flailing - is not nearly as fun as one hopes it would be. I'd much rather have enjoyed the show at home and not had to deal with going into downtown Vancouver, paying for parking, and of course all of those extra TM fees tacked on to the ticket price.

  • Old guys sitting on stools

by Tyson on 2021-12-03Rating: 5 out of 5

It was pretty much Weird Al and his band sitting on stools and playing their back catalogue, so needless to say, it was amazing! Can’t wait to see them again.

  • lots of fun

really enjoyable - dumb, silly fun. The orchestra was wonderful too!

  • Amazing

by AlFan on 2019-08-25Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

From the 41 piece orchestra to the many costume changes and laugh-out-loud moments, this show was brilliant. What an amazing way to showcase the talents of local musicians! Al himself did not disappoint. This was the third time I’ve seen him live and I loved every single minute. He can hit those high notes and display those high kicks with ease. Can’t wait to see him again!

  • Great evening

    by Johnnyjet15 on 2019-08-25Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 5 out of 5

From the opening with the symphony orchestra to the finale it was a most enjoyable high energy evening. Weird Al alluded to Ear It but never did perform it which was a little disappointing. Still it was worth every penny.

  • So funny

by Dj on 2019-08-25Abbotsford Centre - AbbotsfordRating: 4 out of 5

Weird Al is awesome. Venue not so great.....cheap seats left us with a huge speaker in the way.....which unfortunatley changed the experience....

Lots of energy, he sounds good, he's funny, a great show!

  • Next time, he should leave the strings at home

by OfficeBob on 2019-08-23Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

The "warmup act" of his symphony orchestra left a lot to be desired; not only was the sound muddy but they were hitting so many wrong notes that I heard the rest of the show would be as bad. Fortunately, once Al and his band came onstage the sound and music quality improved dramatically.

  • Excellent!

A very good selection of classical Al, plus some of his new stuff.

  • Bigger and better

by Jay on 2019-08-22Queen Elizabeth Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Having seen Al multiple times, this show was not only on par with the song selections and costume changes, it was made even better with a trio of backup vocalists and a symphony orchestra! In a venue designed to bring music to life, Al and company has never sounded better!

  • Great sound quality for a great show.

    by T-Hud on 2019-07-15Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time at Budweiser Stage. The sound quality was amazing, especially compared to other outdoor venues I've been to over the years. Weird Al was fantastic! Great mix of his songs, several costume changes, and an awesome Star Wars themed encore. I would absolutely recommend any fan of Weird Al see him live.

Absolutely amazing, hilarious show. Everything you could ever want from a Weird Al show. Orchestra didn't add much musically, but was kind of funny that it was there for stuff like "Amish Paradise"
