    Whoopi was fabulous!

by Razliz on 2010-03-21The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Whoopi was hilarious! Her comedy was very current and funny from politics to family to grandchildren to menopause she covered quite a lot of ground. Could have done without the Q & A at the end-would have preferred to hear more of Whoopi's jokes-the audience questions were totally lame. Would love to see her again-how about together with Joy Behar.

    Whoopi

by Mydog on 2010-03-21The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Whoopi came out right on time. She put on a very good performance. Very funny. Interacted with the audience, and spoke with audience members. Had taken question period at the end of the show. Would definitely go back to see her and recommend others to see her.

    Delightful

by UPHORIA on 2010-03-21The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

It was a delightful evening. Whoopi was funny but not hilarious. I must have been expecting more. She herself said that this type of venue is new to her and needed some work.

    Whoopi Goldberg Dissappointing

by Hollywoodguy on 2010-01-02Mystic Lake Casino Hotel - Prior Lake

My wife and I celebrated NYE with tickets to see Oscar winning actress Whoopi Goldberg live in concert @ Mystic Lake Casino. We attended the 7pm show. The show itself lacked piazzaz.. She had no opening act, no production, no videos before the show, no big fancy Hollywood introduction. Just a simple amateur announcer off stage who simply introduced her as "Ladies and genetlement Whoopi Goldberg. You couldn't hear the music she walked on to. She didn't use a hand held microphone which made it really difficult to hear. She wore a lapel mike, if people were laughing you couldn't hear her the show. The show lacked material. She had some funny moments, however for the most part the show was observational humor. It was cool to see her, she looked fantastic, but wouldn't go again. Hopefully the second show @ 9:30 was better.
