    Fun experience

by Walter on 2024-04-25Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

Great fun. Not suitable for kids. Would be better to bring back family area. The pot smoke was heavy.

    Fun Time!

    by Dare71 on 2024-04-24Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

Great event well organized and lots of fun. Just wish there was a place to buy a drink other than Lemonade or Beer, like Coke, Sprite. Went to a vendor and all they had was lemonade(very tasty still) Still was a great time for my Daughter and I.

    Super fun night

by Jules on 2024-04-24Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

Very fun night! I appreciated the four entry points and access to the Met for flush washrooms. Just two suggestions: please provide a table at the entrance of the Met so people using the washrooms can leave their drinks and food (which are not allowed in the Met). And my son would have loved a white towel to wave but they ran out quite early.

    Great city spirit in Winnipeg

by Russ on 2024-04-24Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

So nice to see the city come together and get excited about a common goal. Lots of team spirit and support from everyone in the city. Awesome that the city supports this. Would love if we saw more events like this downtown!

It’s more for those who really want to party!

by Toni on 2024-04-24Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

I’d suggest putting up some bleachers for those who can’t stand long or just need a break or when eating. Have the food trucks sell water! Apparently they weren’t allowed to sell water or pop. We couldn’t find water anywhere ( where are the filling stations) ? Two people were carried out passed out from drinking. They could of used some water lol The energy is great but it’s not set up properly. Wouldn’t go again. Tried it once and it was enough.

Great atmosphere, very exciting, very loud (which is awesome), even better being there with family members.

    Best Value in the Peg

    by zman370 on 2024-04-24Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

Amazing experience. Very well controlled environment. Everyone was having a blast even though they lost the second game. It is hands down the best $10 entertainment you are going to get. Will be eagerly awaiting the sale of game five Whiteout Tickets.

    Only booze??

by Season ticket holder on 2024-04-24Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

I brought my grandsons to the street party; we had a great time but I could not purchase water or pop anywhere. I tried every food truck and all the booths: we were there from 4:00 for 6 hours; something wrong with that.

    Fun but not Family Friendly

by Katie on 2024-04-24Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

We were all so excited to attend our first whiteout street party. My kids are 9,11,13 and they are huge jets fans! I absolutely loved the community vibes and that for a very cost friendly way we could take part in a fun way to support the Jets and come together as a city! Had I still been in my 20’s I am sure I would have given the event a 5 star review! Now as a parent though my thoughts are…. there were many overly intoxicated people stumbling, spilling drinks being unruly etc.. it felt like my attention went from enjoying the game with my kids to trying to cover them from getting stumbled on or drinks spilled on them. Also the event clearly said no smoking however it was never enforced at all. It was a cloud of cigarette and pot fumes all night and as someone with allergies this was disappointing. I witnessed 2 police officers standing beside and chatting with people smoking. The other issue was finding non alcoholic options. We went to 4 different vendors before actually being able to find a bottle of water for the kids. Lastly the porta potties were impossible to get to and there were just not enough for the amount of people there. After shuffling through the crowds I turned back around because I would have missed an entire period of the game waiting for a turn. I’d love to see one of the zones be an alcohol and smoke free zone in the future. I’m not suggesting taking away the party drinking fun from others. I was that age once! I am just suggesting a zone that is alcohol free so people of all ages that want to enjoy the experience in a different way can do so!

    It's a tradition now

by Jets Fan on 2023-04-27Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

We had a great night at the whiteout party. A friendly woman greeted us at the entry with a towel. We didn't mind paying the $10 gate admission as it felt liked it help make the experience safe. Obviously we were not big fans when the sound cut out at the end of the 1st period, or when the video cut out for a very important final few minutes of the 3rd period. Thankfully, in true Winnipeg fashion, everyone took out their phones and streamed the game, making sure their neighbours also got to watch. The crowd and the fans are by far what make the Whiteout Party so memorable.

    Awesome!

    by T on 2023-04-27Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

Really great experience. Parking was easy and the event was easy to access. Only recommendation would be having more bathroom areas.

    WhiteOut Street Party

by TamaraNoelle on 2023-04-27Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

1-There was nowhere outside to buy hot beverages 2- Took me an hour to go to the bathroom and then when I got into the port a potty it was disgusting (no toilet paper) 3- lots of people around me were vaping, and I smelled weed when I went to the bathroom. My throat and eyes hurt the following day. 4 - overall I love that you do these parties. 5- GO JETS GO

    Decent

by Jacob on 2023-04-27Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

The main screen needs to be raised higher. It is hard to enjoy when we can’t even see the game if a relatively tall person steps in front of us. Look at Edmonton and Toronto. Everybody is looking up at a raised screen.

Not what it used to be

    by Slane88 on 2023-04-27Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

Just crammed to the max. TV cut out at by far the most important part of the game. Sound cut out to start. Beers were a reasonable price but overall disappointed.

    Whiteout

by Lori on 2023-04-27Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

We had a great time. The only improvements I can think of is to have the audio/picture synced up on the big screen and more washrooms. Thanks :)

For the first one in years, it was okay

by em on 2023-04-26Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

I wish more directions and information was given about the entry of the whiteout as well as more signage indicating bathrooms and bars. There was only 1 heat lamp for 5,000 people which was nice as it was unexpected but having a designated warmer area on colder whiteouts would be nice! I do wish the street it was hosted on had more sun throughout the day but the buildings make it difficult lol. Overall, had a good time with friends and watched some hockey so

    Unforgettable Whiteout

by Sarah on 2023-04-25Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

Jets lost but the experience was definitely a win! I would say my only wish would maybe be a few more heaters as the two that were there constantly had about 15+ people around them.

Long lines, laggy audio, and not enough space

    by L on 2023-04-25Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

Security lines took over 30 minutes and led to many people missing the beginning of the game. Additionally, within the venue everyone was extremely squished into only 1 block making it hard to stay with your group and see the game. Having about 5 food trucks for over 5000 people made getting food impossible due to the lines. The worst part was the audio being ahead of the video by about 5 seconds - spoiling all goals and plays and leading to us leaving after the first period to get somewhere where we could actually watch the game live. Room for improvement

by DG on 2023-04-25Whiteout Way - Winnipeg

The line to enter was extremely long but went fairly quickly. Being 5 feet tall at this event was unfortunate because I could not see either of the screens at all. In a previous year they had put a massive screen in a parking lot and that was perfect, no matter how tall you were you could see it. The space for the amount of people was very small and crowded, there were not nearly enough porta potties, the line to go was endless. The line ups to get a drink or food were also very long and took quite a while. The atmosphere was so great so that made up for everything else but there is definitely room for improvement if there is another one.
