    Wolf Parade delivers!

    by eman8888 on 2018-01-15Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

It's been 7 long years since Montreal's Wolf Parade released any new music or toured. Well fans can rejoice because the wait is over! The band hit the stage at the Commodore Ballroom around 11PM on Friday night after two very mediocre opening bands. They kicked off with Lazarus Online from their latest album and it was non stop energy for more than an hour and a half! The crowd was absolutely ecstatic and the band was surprised by their overwhelming response! It was one of the best shows I've ever seen especially at the Commodore and would highly recommend going to see them if you have the chance!

Great to see Wolf Parade back together

by TastyTunage on 2017-06-27Burton Cummings Theatre - Winnipeg

Show was entertaining and well paced. Although the pacing faltered in the encore. A slow drudging song kind of killed to vibe. Sound was quite bad and way too loud. Have my ear plugs in and my ears were still ringing. I'm all for feeling the music, but who thinks a show needs to be this loud?

    Amazing Live Band!

by deVoxTurk on 2010-11-29Sound Academy - Toronto

This was my fourth time seeing Wolf Parade and I have to say it was the best I've ever seen them. So much energy on stage which was matched by the audience. I still note "I'll Believe in Anything" to be the best song I've ever seen performed live by anyone. And concluding with "Kissing the Beehive" was amazing.

Wolf Parade as Awesome as Ever

by AdamJakedog on 2010-11-29Sound Academy - Toronto

Second time that I have seen them this year--once at the beginning of the tour, once at the end. Really love their live show--loud, intense, funny. They always seem to manage to get the new stuff in and hit the old favourites. Would see them every time they are in town. How much I love them can be confirmed by the fact that I would go the Sound Academy--the worst venue in Toronto--to see them.

The whole thing was so sweet.. they played like they were playing to a packed Madison Square Garden. Met Dan and Spencer after the show and they were super cool.

    Album preview shows are amazing

by canuck086 on 2010-04-11The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

WOlf Parade was in fine form as usual at this show. They were crushing through new and old songs. The new songs are much shorter, catchier and with huge chrouses throughout. You can tell the next album is going to make them a much bigger band so it was great to see them in a small venue one last time. The sound is a little different now as Hadji, who use to provide all the excess sound effects throughout the show is no longer with the band.
