Even though it was a pre-tournament game it had all the excitement and pageantry of a tournament game. The only thing that was disappointing was the souvenir selection, no flags, noisemakers, ministicks, nothing but clothing items.
Price was good, seats were decent, game was excelant, parking was full and had to park in the back of building.
Good game and Canada West won the game. My kid loved it.

Excellent hockey with a lot of potential shown for future NHL possible careers. Hope the fan support improves throughout the week.
Great hockey and nice to watch. Langley Event Center appears to be very unorganized with little management or liaison with the Event organizers. Ice surface barely ready for the first game, along with advertising materials etc. Unfortunately there is no large matrix posted to show who won which game and where those teams go and play next.

Watching the Potential of some of Canda's finest hockey players in action was AWESOME.... the speed ...finnese - hard hitting action left little to be desired in a Hockey Game... The very fact that these players gave it their all in order to try and make the team that will play in the world junior series was everything that a person could hope for for veiwing pleasure of a canadian sports spectacular... True Awesome Hockey... watching several of the future NHL Players in action was well worth the attending this event... Go Canada Go !!
