wwe was a great time with family watching a lot of great wrestlers
This event was pretty cool.....I had FL1 rw 7&8 seats so my bf and I were pretty close....One thing I noticed being that close, is that the wrestlers look alot smaller then they do if you were to watch on t.v.Still big guys, but very different perspective when your that close. Best match was main event Cena vs. Orton. Only thing I'd complain about or w.e is that there was more well known, older wrestlers there--- i.e batista, undertaker, edge, triple H etc....this event was on a Mon so i am sure the other wrestlers were at Raw. Overall a great time, def recommend if you like wrestling or want something different to do for fun.
Most of the popular wrestlers were there. Regular "on air" announcers were not at this venue. My family was dissappointed that it was not "live on air" for Monday Night Raw. WWE aired another american venue. No commentary during matches. I think it is only on air when event is at Air Canada Centre. This should be made clear when marketing this event. Seat Pricing seems to have increased over the last few years. (Over priced for this venue). No special effects that you usually see on TV. Wrestlers were amazing. Wish there was more "smack talking". Security was inconsistent. My husband was stopped for trying to get to the floor take a better photograph of us. "If you did not have floor tickets -you were not allowed on the floor." This particular security person was very abrupt & overly zealous. Another security person did take a photo of us when asked. Seats were great but it is best to sit a little higher up because of people on floor standing & blocking part of the viewing experience. When my husband stood up to get a better look from our seats -he was told to sit down. Meanwhile those on the floor were standing up at each wrestlers introduction & blocking our view. A few times some were told to sit but not all the time. Also people from our section walking back from buying snacks came via the floor entrance and was not approached in any way. The inconsistency almost ruined our night out. Worst experience is if you parked underground. Chaos & forever to get out of parking lot. Police were there but they were not directing traffic.
The electricity from the atmosphere when the show started. It was unbelievable. Witnessing those amazing athletes put their body on the line to entertain people like me and my grandfather (you know he loved it because he didn't sleep through it!). I've followed WWE all my life. I'm not the most dedicated WWE fan, but I know my stuff. I've never been to a WWE event all my life, and this did not disappoint. My first impression was this was going to be a generic show because it actually wasn't "live" (televised program), so I was beginning to think this was going to be very predictable. It still kind of was predictable (not going to lie), but I almost forgot what was actually going to happen because I was screaming so hard. You spend your life looking up to these men and woman putting themselves in the spotlight, but never get to actually see it first hand. Anticipating how people would react to the superstars was common, but still exciting to see them cheer for their heroes, and boo the villains out of the stadium. I would reccomend this to anyone who considers themselves a hardcore WWE fan, or if you just want a time with the family for some tremendous action, why not! Once I left that arena, my whole perspective on Sports Entertainment shook. I was never the same.
Great show lots of action, very entertaining and really liked the Kane vs Big Show match in the steal cage
Considering Raw was live on the same night, we got to see an amazing card including the champ! They even did a steel cage match and it was great. Definitely a top notch house show!
best seats i have had at a show to date. high enough to see everything and low enough that the superstars did not look like ants :)
The wwe event was really good the ambient fantastic, i wanna live it again
Being on the floor not that far from the ring and no one could see a thing. When the action was down on the mat and people were sitting down all those even a couple of rows back could see were the back of heads. People wearing tall pointy toques and others wearing wide hoodies, all helping to block any view possible. Then when there was some action everyone stood up so only those in the front couple of rows saw anything. Why those in the front rows stand up is beyond me. They can see everything. For a $250 event it was a total waste of my time and money. It would have been a good event if we could have seen anything. There should be a strict policy of tossing out people who stand up. A stern warning should be made prior to the event starting.
Great show reminded me of the good old days of wrestling
WWE Raw events are always entertaining! I would recommend the event to all wrestling fans!
Cody Rhodes, John Cena and the Champ Randy Orton were all amazing
