Such a simplistic yet beautiful way to listen to music.
His performance was amazing, we had front row seats but where we were sitting we couldn't see him play the piano. We didn't get the side view of him playing on the piano. It was still a good performance but our view wasn't great considering we got front row tickets. We paid for the VIP tickets so we could meet him but we weren't allowed to get anything signed, we were rushed in for a very quick photo and that was it.
I took my eldest daughter to lsiten to Yiruma because she has been playing him on the paino since she was a little girl. I had no expectations....this vibrant man not only stunned the audience with his masterful artistry on the keyboard, but he had a brilliant stage presence. He was a delight to listen to. I waited in anticipation each time he would pick up the microphone and describe the next title to the piece. He was humble in his words, his wit and deivery were so genuine; plus he drew the audience into his dreams and made us all start to create our own stories within his beautiful music. I will forever remember this concert and truly hope he comes back to Vancouver. The one thing I wish was that the piano was at an angle because we were in row 11 centre stage and yet we still could not see his hands. Having said that, during the concert, the best way to "hear" him was to close your eyes!
It was like a dream come true to be able to meet Yiruma in person! The performance was simply PERFECT!! Thank you Yiruma for coming to Vancouver! I look forward to your next concert!!
Yiruma was incredible. A must see pianist. He engages the audience by explaining the inspiration behind his music. Funny and charming, a must see concert!
really good show except the 2 kids behind us were eating chips during the show.
Yiruma was amazing!! I loved every moment of his performance. Worth it!
This is my first time attending to a piano concert and I was amazed by the sound quality heard even from the balcony. The overall experience was great.
Yiruma was amazing! He had a great mix of old and new pieces that he played and also had a guest violinist for some songs which sounded beautiful. He also was very entertaining when he was talking about his pieces and was overall a great performance.
It was wonderful experience to see his live in person. Would definitely go again!
