About

Zac Brown Band is a multi-platinum, Grammy-winning southern rock group fronted by founder and vocalist Zac Brown. After breaking out with their 9-times platinum hit "Chicken Fried” from debut album The Foundation in 2008, Zac Brown Band has released six studio albums, three EPs, and three live albums. The band have secured 17 Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, 8 of which landed at No. 1. In addition to Brown, the band’s current lineup includes Jimmy De Martini, John Driskell Hopkins, Coy Bowles, Chris Fryar, Clay Cook, Matt Mangano, Daniel de los Reyes, and Caroline Jones, many of whom play multiple instruments within the ensemble. The band have cultivated an engaged fanbase and built a reputation for blending beachy country tunes with elements of rock, bluegrass, and folk, and their live shows often feature extended instrumental improvisation. Beyond his role within the band, Brown founded the label Southern Ground Artists (formerly Home Grown Music) and is heavily involved with philanthropic efforts through Camp Southern Ground. In 2017, Brown was honored with the Country Radio Seminar Artist Humanitarian Award.

    I have been to many concerts over the last 25 years and Zac Brown Band has to be by far one of the beat shows I have ever been too! They played for 3 hours! Who does that anymore?!? I will make sure to always go see them everytime they come back to town! They are a must see! And a must see again!

    Love Zac Brown band. However this venue needs serious overhaul to its food services it provides. Line ups way to long, If you even want a slice of pizza it should not have to take you 30 min of standing at a concession line to do it.

    I have seen alot of concerts in my lifetime, including Zac last year. This was by far the best concert I have ever seen. They were so interactive with the audience, the sound was amazing, the song choices were awesome, and they played for 2 1/2 hours....it was well worth every penny and can't wait to see them again!!

    The best concert we have ever seen. We will definitely be seeing them again . We also enjoyed shorty trombone. We will also be getting floor seat again. Joe Louis arena is a great place to see a concert. Absolutley a 5 star event.

    A great show filled with energy and great musicianship throughout. A perfect mix of hits, special covers and great jam sessions and solos. I would see them any time they are in the D. Opening act AJ Ghent band was outstanding. A fabulous guitarist who has a chance to hit it big.

    The band played for everyone in the stadium. Some old covers, their own fabulous music and brought on to the stage some incredible musicians before the show and during. Absolutely the best New Years Eve money I have ever spent for the family! I would do it again in a heartbeat!

    I found the ZBB tried to hard to please the crowd. Zack had to shake every hand he could reach & walked a circuit of the arena trying to do so. Well for the rest of the arena he is dividing his attention from what we paid to see & thats for him to perform. The band also fired off Tshirt guns, brought out guests, did covers songs, ran up & down the stage. It was a great performance, I guess my real beef is with the crowd wanting cheap thrills, not a great sound. I'll continue being a fan, don't know if I'd go to a live show again.

    The Stella's were nice. Only a 20 min set list which was disappointing.... The middle act, the female, was outstanding.... I felt it was the wrong crowd for her. I don't think they appreciated her for the talent she has. She is more of an alternative act. I thought she was absolutely outstanding!!! She is one of those artists who could sing anything and make it sound amazing!!! I hope when she releases her album, she comes back to Edmonton!!! Amazing!!! ZBB did not disappoint!!! I didn't know what to expect, but I did expect to have a good time.... I had a great time!!! They completely won me over when they played Metallica!!! They played a bit of everything and crammed as much music in as possible... It was a great show, they are great artists, and I look forward to seeing them again.... The girls that he invited to the stage during their "intimate" part of the show, I believe I heard they play the kids on the show "Nashville"??, they were very talented!!! Especially the little one!!! It was a nice surprise, whoever they were....
