About

Zac Brown Band is a multi-platinum, Grammy-winning southern rock group fronted by founder and vocalist Zac Brown. After breaking out with their 9-times platinum hit "Chicken Fried” from debut album The Foundation in 2008, Zac Brown Band has released six studio albums, three EPs, and three live albums. The band have secured 17 Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, 8 of which landed at No. 1. In addition to Brown, the band’s current lineup includes Jimmy De Martini, John Driskell Hopkins, Coy Bowles, Chris Fryar, Clay Cook, Matt Mangano, Daniel de los Reyes, and Caroline Jones, many of whom play multiple instruments within the ensemble. The band have cultivated an engaged fanbase and built a reputation for blending beachy country tunes with elements of rock, bluegrass, and folk, and their live shows often feature extended instrumental improvisation. Beyond his role within the band, Brown founded the label Southern Ground Artists (formerly Home Grown Music) and is heavily involved with philanthropic efforts through Camp Southern Ground. In 2017, Brown was honored with the Country Radio Seminar Artist Humanitarian Award.

    Incredibly talented musicians ... great variety of music. The audience sang along with most of the hits, which were spot on ! - no techno adjustments to their sound. "Family-like" closeness and support for opening acts, Zac Brown asked the members of the opening acts to join them on the stage to sing - I have never seen that before - HUGE moment for those just starting out.

    This show was more than I expected. I didn't go into the concert being a huge fan and left one! The quality of the show was outstanding. I recommend seeing these guys wherever you can!!

    A very high energy, great sounding concert. Our seats were not the greatest but the giant screens and numerous cameras did an excellent job of letting us see all of the action. I was not overly impressed with either opening act (The Stellas or Dugas), partially because their sound was not nearly as refined and loud and clear as ZBB. I suspect that the sound system was likely tuned for master musicians in ZBB and was therefore underperforming for the opening acts. Once ZBB took the stage though I quickly forgot about the ho hum opening acts and really enjoyed EVERY single song the band played. I also enjoyed hearing reviews from friends of mine who attended the concert without prior knowledge of ZBB. There are definitely a few more ZBB fans in the world because of this concert.

    Their harmony and guitar playing was out of this world. They were fantastic best concert I have ever been at. Zac Brown Interaction with the audience was refreshing and unconceited. The band members and Zac Brown played hard and so well, you could tell they enjoy their work and playing to the audience. I noticed how hard they work at pleasing the audience.

    This was my first time seeing this band...and what a show, even with being poured on in ridiculously hot, sweaty, muddy, humidity-over-the-top conditions...it was stellar from start to finish. The Stellas opened beautifully, and then after a second band (which I didn't even get the name of and who were kinda MEH), the boys from Zac Brown hit the stage and it was perfection. Harmonies, instrumentals, the whole deal was just a feast and super tight. Zac even forgot the words to part of Sic 'em On A Chicken, but who cares, he got lost in the jam and it was so good. "Free/Into The Mystic" was goose-bump-worthy. Late in the show, they called The Stellas back on stage and did jam versions of TLC's "Waterfalls" (MaryLynne Stella just slayed the rap in this song...so good)...and then went onto The Eagles' "Seven Bridges Road" like they were just jammin' in your living room and that was just, well, the cherry on the sundae, as if we weren't all already more than totally smitten. Then they did a 180 and covered Metallica, and killed that too. This band has ridiculous talent, and will take a ton of risks and come up smelling like roses every time. I could have gone back a second night and watched this whole show again, it was that good. Sure hope they come back next year. One of those shows that will stick in your mind for a long time afterwards.

    This was one of the best performances I have been to in a long time. The acoustics were great. There wasn't so much flash that it took away from the singing. It was like a big jam session. Their live performances sound just like their CD's. Would definitely go back!

    Once again Zac Brown Band was amazing. Not just a single country performer like Luke Bryan, etc. but a complete band. Concert featured each band member at various times. Opening acts not noteworthy but seldom are.

    the band did a great job, but in our section 201 the sound was terrible.could not hear the vocals. truly amateur hour. will have to think hard about returning to MCA for future shows... best part of the evening was the Carpet Frogs at the CNE proir to the show
