About

Zac Brown Band on Tour

Zac Brown is the founder, front man, and lead vocalist for the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning, southern rock group Zac Brown Band. In addition to being the founding member of Zac Brown Band and leading it through its overwhelming success, Brown is also credited as an impactful songwriter, producer, record label head, business man, and philanthropist - making him one of the sharpest minds among today's generation of artists focused on shifting the paradigm of the music business.

Brown was born in 1978 in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in a family of 12 children. Later on, Brown attended the University of West Georgia and in 2002, founded Zac Brown Band. Since then, Brown's passion shifted to music and he went on to start his own label, Southern Ground Artists, in 2003. From there, Brown's first widely distributed studio album with Zac Brown Band, The Foundation, sold more than 5 million copies making the album 5x platinum following its release in 2008. The lead song off The Foundation, "Chicken Fried," the band's first national release, also went 5x platinum with over 5 million sales and over 255 million streams. Brown has released four studio albums, two live albums, a greatest hits album, and an extended play produced by Dave Grohl, all with Zac Brown Band - now completely made up with Brown along with Jimmy De Martini, John Driskell Hopkins, Clay Cook, Chris Fryar, Coy Bowles, Daniel de los Reyes, and Matt Mangano.

Zac Brown Band's success can largely be attributed to Brown's interest in pushing creative boundaries through collaborations with top artists across genres including Avicii, Chris Cornell, Jimmy Buffett, Foo Fighters, Sheryl Crow, Sara Bareilles, and Jason Mraz to name a few. Most recently, Brown worked with Shawn Mendes on writing his latest single with Zac Brown Band titled "Someone I Used To Know," which debuted on Billboard's Hot Country Song Chart the week of its release in Nov. 2018. The new material comes as the band is preparing to kick off their "Down The Rabbit Hole Live," spring 2019 tour this coming March, following 2018's 31-stop summer tour of the same name.

Most recently, in December of 2018, Brown announced the launch of his new entertainment and lifestyle branded parent company, Zac Brown Collective, formerly known as Southern Ground. The reimagined company expanded its brand portfolio; further rising Brown's artistic and entrepreneurial pursuits to new heights. Zac Brown Collective brings together the best in music, film, food, fashion, custom design, and American-made gear to form a company made up of brands that are fully grounded in the "American experience."

Brown's commitment to giving back has also been at the forefront of his career since day one when he founded Camp Southern Ground. The camp, Brown's biggest passion, is an inclusive camp serving children ages 7-17 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, dyslexia, social or emotional challenges, and typically developing children. The camp's off-season programming supports post 9/11 veterans in their readjustment to civilian life. Zac Brown Collective allocates funds and resources to the camp - making all of Brown's work beneficial to a cause dear to his heart. In 2017, Brown was honored with the CRS Humanitarian Award, presented annually to musicians who use their careers to serve others in need and contribute to the greater good. The award was presented to Brown for his work supporting our nation's veterans and for his nonprofit passion project Camp Southern Ground.

Zac Brown Band is represented by Creative Artists Agency, SB Projects, communications and branding agency JONESWORKS, & Zac Brown Collective.

    You had me from….❤️

    by E. d. on 2022-06-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

The first time I saw ZBB was when they opened for Kenny Chesney in Detroit, they had just released ‘You Get What You Give’ and we made the trek from Ontario Canada to see ZBB, and so began my love of this incredible band. The show on June 4 was nothing short of spectacular, I brought my teenage daughters too, and they got to see the truly incredible show this band puts forward, the stage production was off the hook with the lights, the videos and the props. Mr. Jimmy D (swoon) as always lighting that fiddle up. The 3 “acts” were everything you want good storytelling to be inviting, heartfelt, exciting. Even with the very heavy presentation of Mr. Hopkins ALS diagnosis the band gave us all the heart and groove you would expect. Thank you for another one for the memory banks!

    Incredible Show!

by Mole P on 2022-06-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

The Zac Brown Band is an incredible live band and they did not disappoint in Toronto. Their opening band wasn't able to be there so Zac and the band played the entire night! Not a lot of bands would make this kind of adjustment to keep the fans happy. Clay, Daniel, John, Matt and Caroline did an amazing acoustic set, and then Zac and the whole band played three sets! I brought my 13-year old daughter - it was her first concert - and she loved it. Canada loves you, Zac Brown Band!

    Concert Experience

by Newby on 2022-06-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Had not been to Budweiser stage for over 15 years, nicely re-modeled, beverage and food stands over-priced. Zac Brown concert was great, however, the start of 3rd set was very dis-appointing, Zac Brown has a very large selection of hit songs from his repertoire to play, and we did not pay to listen to cover-songs of disco from 70's -80's which took up 1/2 of the 3rd set, that was the biggest let-down,

    Dance Band

by Dee on 2022-06-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Disappointed as they sang too many other artists' songs. This is the fourth and last time I will go to their concert.

    Mediocre

by Bob on 2022-06-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Sounded like Zac and his band were out of practice playing live and engaging with the audience. Relatively weak vocals and enthusiasm. The whole performance divided into 3 short sets with long intermissions when we were told to ‘check out some merch’ They should check out a Chris Stapleton concert to see and hear how it’s done.

    Outstanding

by Erkag on 2022-06-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

One of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. Budweiser Stage is an excellent venue for a concert. Sound was amazing. Our group had excellent seats. Food and drinks readily available. Bathroom lines can be long but not that bad. Great night. Thanks to Zac Brown.

    3 sets. Lack of hits

by Dr Z on 2022-06-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Concert would have been better with 1 set, all zac brown hits and other songs. Swap Gin and Juice for a cover. Too many covers that replaced good Zac songs.

Everything you want in a concert

by KateW on 2022-06-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

The opening act couldn’t make this show so members of the band played a few songs to make up for it. Then Zac played one “old school bar style”. There was 3 acts total in the concert with it spread out over 4 hours (2x15 min intermissions). Then third act was each band member playing a song of their choosing majority of them weren’t country. It was great concert Zac vocals sound just as good if not better in person, and the variety of instruments in the band kept it interesting to listen to for the entirety of the show.

    AMAZING!!!

by CATHY on 2022-06-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

We arrived at the Budweiser Stage and proceeded to the lawns only to be stopped and asked if we wanted to be upgraded! Well HECK YEAH! We ended up in section 203 - 7 rows from the floors! It was an amazing show and an amazing way to get back to concerts after 2 years!!! The Zac Brown Band are some of the most talented musicians playing a wide range of music for all age groups. Looking forward to their next return to Budweiser Stage.

    Meh

by Riley on 2022-06-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

I’ve seen ZBB 6 times and this was the worst show I’ve seen them out on. No opener, or theatrics and they played way too many pop music/disco covers and their new albums. I’d wish they’d play more from their first 3 albums when they actually made country music.

    Good Times

by Greg on 2022-06-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

Enjoyed the experience all together... Venue is a great place for music, washrooms move fast and facilities are clean. Beverages are way too expensive, there should be lower priced products available, $38 for 2 beers is too much money, I understand prices are more than normal, but $10 seems fair to me.

    by Ab1331 on 2022-06-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

The concert itself was not very good. I would describe it as a big kareoke concert. The zac brown band which is one of my favorite bands sang very few of there own songs and not many hits either and sang a ton of other artists songs and it just wasnt very good. First time ive ever saw them and wasnt very impressed. It was a let down

    Not a family friendly event

by CP on 2022-06-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

A lot people smoking marijuana and cigarettes, there is a no smoking sign, security standing there, doing nothing about. I came home feeling dizzy from a cloud of smoke around me.

    Great band but bad stadium

by Summer on 2022-06-07Budweiser Stage - Toronto

I was super excited to see them because I know basically all of their songs but we bought lawn tickets and we could barely hear what song they were playing unfortunately. So this isn’t a bad review of the band, but of Budweiser Stage. We got free passes to the pit thank goodness otherwise we probably wouldn’t have been able to hear any part of the concert.
