    FIFA Women World Cup 2015

by AndrewSEE on 2015-07-08BC Place - Vancouver

An awesome event. Proud of Canada hosting this event and a memory of a lifetime at World Cup finals. USA was awesome and it goes a long way to get the Americans to play soccer. Japan a power house and great for Asia. It just complete both East and West.

    WWC = WOW

by SMcQ on 2015-07-08BC Place - Vancouver

It was such a fun day. All the American supporters were very impressive! Too bad it was not a closer match, the Americans dominated the entire time. BC Place really needs to provide more vendors, the line ups for merchandise and food/beverage were awful. People were waiting far too long, that was ridiculous. It's not like they didn't know 54,000 people were showing up.....

    Great World Cup Experience

by andresfootball on 2015-07-07Olympic Stadium - Stade Olympique - Montreal

I didn't manage to get the best seats but I still had a very nice view and enjoyed very much the game. It was a very disputed game until the Americans got the best of the Germans. There was 51000+ spectators so the ambiance was amazing!

Event fair but could be better

by wit123 on 2015-07-07Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

The game was fine, getting to and from the venue was well organized and I could recommend the two parts. But there was unnecessary problem with some seats. The organizers reserved a big part of one side of the stadium as VIP section. Thousands of people were in the seats below the VIP section and in order to get to or leave the seats we had only two sets of stairs, one on each side of the section. Obviously there was a long line to enter and/or leave. I could understand it if the VIP section was full but there were only a few people in the huge VIP section - I counted less than 10. The organizers should be more flexible and when they saw that only a few VIPs attended the game, they should simply open the stairs to make it more comfortable to those who in fact purchased tickets.

FIFA Women World Cup -Third Place

by AndrewSEE on 2015-07-07Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

Highly entertaining. A World class event and proud that Edmonton is a venue. Hope to have more of this. England played with a brave heart and above their world ranking. It will be wonderful to see the home to football (England) regain some of their prestige as a soccer nation.

    Amazing

by dwkerr61 on 2015-07-07Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

I was not a true fan of soccer until the FIFA Woman's Companionship came to Canada I was so proud of the performance of our Canadian Woman's Team, This made me want to be part of the tournament which came in the way of watching the German vs England game. Totally amazed at the talents of these athletes and was proud of Canada for providing such a wonderful venue. I'm now a true fan.

Good for cheaper seats! Great finish...

by JZ000 on 2015-07-07Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

A penalty in the second extra time made this a definite finish for 3rd place (unexpected, but still a good result)...was hoping for penalties though. Seats good angled view since we took top row of lower section (were between edge of 18yd box and sideline and 28 rows up - almost perfect since you could see the big screen well too - a little far from opposite end of stadium but decent because you could see the game develop). Wish there was more scoring though, but highest FIFA event in Edmonton to date a good experience (even concession lines good, as compared to previous games & people actually selling items in isles - something definitely missing from previous long-disorganized lineups...way to learn what people need FIFA!).

Teams did not come to play

by Ashamed on 2015-07-07Commonwealth Stadium - Edmonton

The third place soccer match between Germany and England was uneventful. The play was mainly back and forth with few offensive plays. The teams appeared to be playing for the draw. At this high level of competition, you would think the teams would be hungry for the win. I've seen more intensity at my 9 year old daughter's games.

Opening Match, Women's World Cup 2015

by JSlo on 2015-07-07Commonwealth Stadium / Stade du Commonwealth - Edmonton

I thought that how the concession was run, was pathetic. This was supposed to be a world class event, and they had grandmas and 12-yr-olds working the concessions. It is very frustrating to wait 45 min in line from half-time, and miss most (if not all) of the 2nd half. We paid a lot of money for this event and missed half of it. I feel that Commonwealth Stadium was not prepared for this international event and it was run very poorly. I attended the WWC final at BC Place in Vancovuer and it was a 'night and day' difference in terms of getting to the game, line ups to enter the stadium, concession lines, and bathroom lines.

    Extremely fun event

by ottawasportsgeek on 2015-07-07Olympic Stadium - Stade Olympique - Montreal

It was the first time I'd seen an event in Montréal's Olympic Stadium in many years. The US versus Germany was a real treat - probably the best match of the tournament with two very skilled teams on display. The stadium was almost packed with wildly enthusiastic American supporters which made for a great atmosphere.

    World Cup Games UNFORGETTABLE!!

by Maudy2u on 2015-07-07Moncton Stadium / Stade de Moncton - Moncton

Seeing the Woman's World Cup in Moncton was a dream come true for our family. The access to venue, seating, and exit flowed well. The viewing of the field was great, and all the games had drama. The only thing to make it better is to have the games here again.
