About

Justin Bieber on Tour

He's descended from the rafters attached to giant angel wings made of speaker parts. He's also held court to seas of screaming fans while sitting on a stool with an acoustic guitar. He's danced madly on EDM festival stages while backed by wild bass kicked out by Diplo and Skrillex, and he's faced off with Questlove in a live drum battle. He is, of course, Justin Bieber — the Canadian-born singer, songwriter, musician and world's biggest pop star, period. His debut concert tour, 2010's My World Tour, launched when he was 16, sold 1.4 million tickets and grossed $53 million. Although he's taken the occasional hiatus from the spotlight, Bieber was a seasoned performer before he was old enough to vote. At the heart of that success is an immense talent (both vocal and instrumental) initially tailor-made to court a global fan base of fervent tweens and kids. But as Bieber grew up, so did his taste and perspective. In tandem with setting Guinness World Records for streams, sales, radio plays, social media followers and video views, the boy became a man in public and on record — his celebrated fourth and fifth albums, 2015's Purpose and 2020's Changes, found him shedding a bubblegum background for new sonic frontiers and critical acclaim.

Justin Bieber in Concert

Justin Drew Bieber was born in London, Ontario, in 1994, and raised in low-income housing by the single mother who would share one of his earliest performances on YouTube in 2006, kicking off one of the most storied careers in music history. His talent was evident early on — Bieber was playing the drums at 2, and singing not long after. By the time he was 12, he was able to earn $3,000 busking in front of his town's theater during tourist season. Within a year of that, he'd been discovered by future music mogul Scooter Braun and introduced to Usher. Management and record deals followed, and Bieber and his mother moved to Atlanta to start building his future. In 2009, Bieber's debut EP, My World, dropped and went platinum within a month. All seven of its songs ended up in the Billboard Hot 100, paving the way for appearances on Ellen, at the White House and on Taylor Swift's tour. Up through 2012's Believe, with its single "Boyfriend," Bieber continued to project youthful optimism and innocent romance, but his career was effectively relaunched in 2015 after he teamed with Jack Ü to release "Where Are Ü Now," an edgy EDM track that found him expressing doubt and lamenting loss. That song, along with his similarly oriented "What Do You Mean?", set the stage for Purpose, a coming-of-age album that explored spirituality, struggle and mature love. Collaborations followed across dance (Major Lazer's "Cold Water"), Latin (Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito"), rap (DJ Khaled's "I'm the One"), country (Dan + Shay's "10,000 Hours") and alternative pop (Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy"), culminating in 2020's appropriately named, fully grown offering, Changes.

    Justin Bieber VIP

by Cindy Lalonger on 2022-03-31Canadian Tire Centre - Ottawa

Hi, We have the chance to have the VIP ticket for Justin Bieber it was realy interesting the visit of the backstage the chance to walk on his stage miss only Justin in the visit of course I was disappointed for the picture with him cancel because I pay for it in 2016 in Montreal and 2017 at Toronto It was also cancel. We really like the fact to have a place where we can wait with games inside the place and something to eat with not too much people because I'm so much Savage and don't feel good with a lot of people. I will like to pay more to be with less people close to the stage a picture with Justin Bieber with the possibility to take the photo with only 2 people not 4 because I see how people dress we were wearing something classy and decent and the others people not like us in the show if it could be possible in the futur we will be beliebers so much happy and in the same time! We like more with no pitts because they are less close to people like it if he comes back with VIP at Toronto at the end of the tour we will READY to take again tickets 2 VIP to see Justin hope Justin feel good and god protect him for the rest of the tour. Truly beliebers who love our experience with backstage!

    Best concert ever

by Karla44 on 2022-03-31Canadian Tire Centre - Ottawa

Loved the concert but it was unfortunate that Bieber came on 10 minutes early so we missed a few songs. Even if the waiter had told us. I think all staff should know if there's changes in the line up and that Jaden wasn't performing either.

by Jojo on 2022-03-31Canadian Tire Centre - Ottawa

I bought the tickets for my Daughter and Granddaughter, it was my granddaughter's first concert. She was over the moon excited. It was a great night of fun for both.

    Great Show

by Klayor on 2022-03-31Canadian Tire Centre - Ottawa

The show started right on time at 7:30 pm with the first opening act ,¿Téo?, who was very good. Promptly after that Eddie Benjamin played and was also very entertaining. Unfortunately Jaden did not perform, presumably because he was at the Oscars with his family. Justin Bieber came on around 8:30pm and played nearly two hours. His show was great! There were many elements to the stage and pyrotechnics and the dancers were great. Justin had lots of energy and engaged with the audience. My kids, 9 and 12, loved the show!

    Great show!

by Nathalie on 2022-03-31Canadian Tire Centre - Ottawa

It was worth my two year wait!!!!!!! First part started right on time at 19:30 with great performers (Jaden was absent- attending the Oscar ah! ah!) Justin's performance was excellent: great voice, great musicians, great dancers and an amazing interactive stage. My only disappointment is that the show ended at 10:00. I would have like to hear more songs especially from his other albums. Justin was top notch in his comments to the crowd. He has definitely mature. I highly recommend this show!

    Best night ever!

by vicshoe on 2022-03-30Canadian Tire Centre - Ottawa

We travelled from London ontario to Ottawa to see Justin bieber at the Canadian tire centre and the concert was so worth the trip! (I knew it would be as I’ve seen him multiple times.) He put on an absolutely breath taking show and I would go to the same concert in every city if I could. The energy in the arena was something I’ve missed throughout the pandemic. It was so nice to be back in such a large crowd and I’m happy to say my first post Covid concert was all I could’ve imagined.

    A must see!

by Kt on 2022-03-30Canadian Tire Centre - Ottawa

I have been to every tour of Justin’s since he first started, and seeing him grow up has been such a blessing! He is such a great performer, who puts effort into his production and you can tell it comes natural to him. It was my boyfriend’s first concert in arena, and he was even screaming and having fun. I hope to see him again soon. Once a belieber, the fever never goes away :)

    Entertaining Show With Inspirational Message

by pjle5 on 2022-03-30Canadian Tire Centre - Ottawa

Justin Bieber delivers a exceptional concert with great vocals, cool dance moves and a state-of-the-art light show. He not only provides an entertaining and energetic show, he also includes many inspirational messages and videos during his act which are really needed in today’s divisive world we live in. My only negative has more to do with the venue (Canadian Tire Centre) which allowed fans to freeze outside for over an hour in -25 degree weather and blustery winds due to a very slow security process at the front doors. The line ups for JB merchandising was also very slow and actually blocked the flow of the crowd. It’s time for Ottawa to get a modern arena to host such concerts and our Ottawa Senators hockey games.
