I was expecting another dissapointing show, like the one he put on a few years ago. But this was not the case, it was awesome. loved it.

Marilyn Manson w/ Butcher Babies - Worth Every Min

by DJ2xS on 2013-02-14Shaw Conference Centre - Edmonton

Highly energetic performances by both the opening band (Butcher Babies) and Manson himself. Especially after he just got over the flu. There was a drawn-out delay between the Babies and Manson that seemed to go on forever, but in the end; all worth it. I would highly recommend you get a dose of Manson's stage show at least once in your life, if not twice.

Manson was fantastic, short yet sweet.

by BlackVenom on 2013-02-14Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

I am an absolute die hard fan of him. He did amazing, lights were great, band did superb. I wish I bought VIP tickets, would have been an even more enriching to compliment the best night of my life.

    marilyn manson

by grub666 on 2013-02-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

My girlfriend and i recently traveled to the show in vancouver on monday it has been a life long dream of hers to experience manson live she has a been a fan for many years and it was a valentines gift from me too her!!!!i was super excited to be able to see her enjoyment and rockout alongside her....but the security guards 4 songs into the set came up to me and asked to speak to me and i had no problem to talk to them and see what the problem was and they told me i had to leave because i apparently had punched another human being in the face which was false i did not punch anybody nor would i because im not a violent person ..so as they escorted me out of the building i asked them if they could let my girlfriend know that i was tossed out of the show and they replied to me that they were tossing her out as well and that just crushed her so much....first of all i was falsly accused of a crime i didnt commit and my girlfriend was tossed for no reason at all....i just thought i should share this info with you because im sure the venue and security guards dont care at all !!!! Thank you for your time and maybe someday in the future my beautiful lady can experience the full show.

    Manson where's the crazy?

by summer79 on 2013-02-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Butcher babies were awesome! A little disappointed they were so clothed! :D I was expecting Manson to be more theatrical more crazy more "Manson" so ill say i was disappointed. there really was no pit but no complaints on that here....for a $82.00 show he could have played longer especially since he doesn't encore. I'm not a fan of this venue for a Rock/metal show.

    Average

by MrEff on 2013-02-13MTS Centre - Winnipeg

The setlist and playing was great, but Manson himself seemed very distant. He barely interacted with the crowd, and didn't do much actual singing (though he can still scream with the best of 'em). The crowd was extremely boring, more concerned with taking videos than watching the show. Barely a mosh pit to speak of. It also felt a bit short. Perhaps another song or two would have been good, or even another opener. But there was little, if anything, between the songs. They seemed to just chug through the songs, and were done in under an hour. Overall it was fun, but fell very short. I hate to call a Manson show average, but that's what it was.

    Marilyn Manson disappoints

by Arkay on 2013-02-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Okay, that's perhaps a bit of a harsh title... I'm actually very glad I went to this show -- I've always wanted to see him live. However, playing for less an hour? Hello?!? What a joke. The show was pretty much over before it even started. You could tell his fans, many of whom had gone to ridiculously awesome lengths with outfits, make-up, hair etc, were quite peeved when he walked off the stage just after 10pm, the house lights came on, and Manson never came back. The music was okay... but he didn't wow me like I was hoping he would. No dead chickens. No blood. No live sex. What did I pay for? Not the 50 minutes of blah we witnessed. Thank you to the awesome crowd and the awesome people in the audience who were the real ones who put on the show and made my night... for not being afraid to be themselves. Loved it.

Marilyn Manson was really good, lots of energy and stage performance that rocked, though the set was quite short in my opinion, as it was only one hour long and no encore. He played a lot of his good older songs, which I really liked.

    Marilyn Manson

by Moebear on 2013-02-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

I think given his recent health issues, he gave a good performance, however I was disappointed that he was only able to play for an hour and he gave no encore.

    Great

Except that Manson was still sick and cut the show a bit short, overall, amazing!

Awesome but it felt (was?) cut short...

by overclocked on 2013-02-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

The concert was sweet but looking at set-lists from other shows I think ours was cut short. Manson was on for less than an hour and even when it was over people stuck around fro another 15min or more (even when the lights came on!) because they thought "this can't be it." Most people I talked to thought it was a ripoff but still an awesome concert. I'd go again just to see him but I think I would want a little more for my money next time...

Family Day with Marilyn Mason was GREAT!

by IMWildForever1964 on 2013-02-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Loved the show, took my two boys, 26 and 15. We had the best time screaming, yelling and dancing on our feet. Can't wait till they come back again! Only thing too short, over around 10:00 pm, would of liked a bit longer show :)

    Manson let down

by rachelber on 2013-02-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

I've seen Marilyn Manson before and was so impressed I wanted to see him again. Some memories are better left as just that. Now, 10 yrs later, all I'll remember is a tired performance, lack luster stage presence and a shockingly short show. It seems that for the cost of a ticket we were only entitled to an hour of entertainment with very little extra put back into the theatrics or stage setup. Definitely not how I wanted to remember him.

So Mr. Manson, is 1 hour all were worth??

by Phraze on 2013-02-13Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Excellent show but manson only played for 1 hour? Awesome lighting, great sound, but what gives? It had been all over the news a week before that he had been fighting the flu and had collapsed on stage during the saskatoon show. In Vancouver, he took to the stage around 9 pm and the house lights were up by 10:05 pm? At first everyone thought it was a scene change until the roadies came out and started taking apart the stage. He missed out on so much music that he should have played. It was disappointing considering what fans had to pay for tickets. Tonight's concert was the 5th time I've seen Marilyn Manson live. Times have changed since the first time I saw him way back in 1999 for the Mechanical Animals tour. I think mr. Manson might be feeling his age, I know I sure was, being 40, in amongst all the 20 something concert goers

Great performance by Butcher Babies and Marilyn!

by Morbidangelchick on 2013-02-12Stampede Corral - Calgary

You could tell that Marilyn Manson still had a cold, but he still put on an amazing show! He is very active on the stage and engages the audience. He did a lot of costume changes and had a different microphone for every song:) The Butcher Babies weren't rocking their electrical tape X's over their nipples as I was expecting - but Im assuming it was a Calgary Stampede Corral dress code issue.

    I expected way more!

by Headache11112 on 2013-02-12Shaw Conference Centre - Edmonton

The band did great! Music was just right and awesome! But Manson wasn't up for performing much! You could barely hear him sing. I stood in the middle section of the floor fearing mosh pit people, but there was not much going on! I'm a HUGE fan of Manson, but this show was a total disappointment... The stage, on the other side, was set up poorly too! Although I was standing in the middle (not far from the front of the stage) I could barely see anything! I have to admit the sound and noise level was perfect, not too loud, not too low!
