Nicki Minaj is a multi-platinum-selling rapper from the island of Trinidad. After being discovered by Lil Wayne in the late 2000s, Minaj signed with Young Money Entertainment and quickly began breaking records — becoming the first female artist to top Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart in nearly a decade thanks to her 2010 single “Your Love,” which was featured on her Grammy-nominated debut studio album Pink Friday.     I feel like the artist should have planned to come 1 day earlier in Canada because we all know that there can be issues at the customs.

    Lateness, lack of effort and accountability

    She came 3 hours late, did not apologize and her show lacked effort, like she just did it for the money. We were forced to stay because we didn’t know if she will come or not and had already waited 3 hours plus over. No compensation nothing. What we paid for is a timely performance. Initially event was 8pm , then it was changed to 8:30pm and later didn’t show till after 11 pm getting to 12 midnight. Ticketmaster must hold artists responsible and give a window where they can be late. Nothing more than 45 mins because it’s theft to be forced to stay for an event I paid for at 8:00 .

    3 hours late with no apology

    All of us were super tired waiting for her to come on, and we found out that this is normal behavior for her. The show started at 8:30, meaning Nicki should be on stage by 9:30. Others on TikTok were saying that she would come out at 10:30, so I was expecting there to be at least music playing, but we just sat there for an hour after the opening act. She finally came on at 11:20 and did not interact with the crowd at all and didn’t apologize either. Many of us were stuck without a ride since the metro was closed after her concert. When this happened with Beyoncé, she paid the metro system to stay open so people would have a way to get home. She could’ve at least made an effort, or at least said sorry and talked to us. She just sang her songs and left and some of the songs she wasn’t even singing, and her outfit changes were SO long.

    Even though she was over 2 hours late she put on a great show. Would have been better to cancel to show and reschedule a new date. The show ran extremely late into the early hours of the morning.
