About

Nicki Minaj is a multi-platinum-selling rapper from the island of Trinidad. After being discovered by Lil Wayne in the late 2000s, Minaj signed with Young Money Entertainment and quickly began breaking records — becoming the first female artist to top Billboard’s Hot Rap Songs chart in nearly a decade thanks to her 2010 single “Your Love,” which was featured on her Grammy-nominated debut studio album Pink Friday. That album took the music industry by storm, delivering the Diamond-certified smash “Super Bass” and introducing fans to the rapper’s penchant for alter egos among her blistering lyricism and rapid-fire flow. Considered one of the greatest female rappers of all time, some of Minaj’s biggest singles include “Starships,” the Grammy-nominated “Anaconda” and “Chun-Li.” She scored her first solo No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2022 with “Super Freaky Girl” — the lead single off her fifth studio album, 2023’s Pink Friday 2.

    The GOAT

by Jeremiah on 2024-04-22Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

This was my first ever tour that I witnessed and it was honestly the greatest thing that I’ve experienced. Nicki continues to prove that she is really the greatest to ever do it.

Great Show! Nicki was all about the LOVE!!

by GTA Concert Junkie on 2024-04-22

I wanted to take a star away Because Monica came out at half time and it was awful. She was boring and everyone left to get drinks etc. But Nicki was solid! Would love to see her again!

QUEEN NICKI DELIVERED IN GAG CITY TORONTO!

by NEEKS on 2024-04-22Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Omg, seeing Nicki was amazing, literally one of the best shows ever. She came and slayed from start to finish, a big upgrade from her first tour back in 2015, which I also attended. ahhh I love her so much. I recommend if you love her try and go to a show cause honestly if I could I would go to all the dates (even in Europe too). Over 10/10 show, ohh and Monica was good too. I obviously didn’t know all the songs she performed because she wasn’t from my era ( I knew about 2) but she can sing & she’s gorgeous too. But in regards to Nicki, this tour is solidifying even more why she is the Queen of Rap.. I LOVE YOU NICKI 💖💖💖

    Late but killed it

by Momo on 2024-04-22Centre Bell - Montreal

I went to the Pink Friday 2 concert in Montreal. I think it's well known that Nicki was 3 hours late. However prior to going, I had heard that Nicki was late for most of this tour and wasn't going on stage until after 10pm, so I was prepared. Instead of 10, she came on at 11 due to airport issues as per her Twitter. So really considering for many of the tour dates she came on a little after 10pm, I considered her only 1 hour late. However, I think given that she's been late for many of her tour dates she should have had entertainment the whole time we were waiting for her. DJ Booth (I think his name was) started us off. He was great, he played throwbacks and engaged with the crowd. It was amazing to have that kind of energy. The one thing I will say about DJ Booth is he told us Nicki was "4 stops away to Gag City"and then told us to light up our phones so Nicki could see...when Nicki was not even there nor was she 4 stops away cause she came about 2-3 hours later. Along with Nicki, was Monica I believe. I found the pairing odd because Monica was singing quite slow songs, while the DJ had already hyped us up, so it kind of felt like a buzz kill. Then we waited for a couple of hours for Nicki to come. There was some music but it wasn't from the DJ. I honestly was chilling. Some people wanted to walk out (from the chants I heard) and others started chanting, 'where is Nicki'. There was no announcement in the stadium that Nicki was having security issues or that she was going to be late. When Nicki finally arrived she didn't mention anything or give a live apology for being late. She only addressed it on her Twitter. The only reason I knew why she was late for her concert initially was because some girls behind me were talking about it. Then Nicki arrived, the crowd went wild. Everyone was so excited to see her and she killed it! She had backup dancers, some props, and she even gave a speech about loving yourself before someone else. I loved the energy the fans brought and it was a good time (besides the lateness). The concert ended at 1am. I went by myself and had a blast! I give it a 4/5 because of the lateness, but I found the energy and the performance did make up for it. I had travelled to see Nicki so my hotel was right beside the stadium, so regardless of when it ended I didn't have to worry about transportation so that may be why my rating is still high. Would I see Nicki again? I loved the performance but given that a lot of stadiums now shut down after a certain time, I wouldn't go again, in fear that the stadium would cut the performance because of how late she comes, whether that is 10 or 11pm.

    Better late than never

by Doll face on 2024-04-22Centre Bell - Montreal

Even though she was over 2 hours late she put on a great show. Would have been better to cancel to show and reschedule a new date. The show ran extremely late into the early hours of the morning.

    3 hours late

by Marie on 2024-04-21Centre Bell - Montreal

3 hours late and she went through the playlist very fast. Also since she was late the parking garage closed on us and I had to wait till 5am for them to open again

    QUEEN OF RAP

by AK on 2024-04-21Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Such a fun show! The pre-show was lit, with everyone dancing to DJ Booth's set. Then the Queen of Rap started her show right on schedule! The production value was high, the breath control was controlling and the bars were barring! Nicki showed why she is the best female rapper to ever do it. This lady has so many hits and she coulda went on and on. Monica also did her thing and her performance was a nice break to rest ya feet. My only critique is they need to make the screens on the set bigger so we can see Nicki more lol. But overall, vibes were high and I really enjoyed myself!

    by Aman on 2024-04-21

My first ever concert in Scotiabank Arena, absolutely UNFORGETTABLE! Nicki was right on time and the show was impeccable. She performed, she smiled, she TAUGHT US! I still remember what she told us “If there is one thing you should remember tonight, I want you to remember to stay present in the moment.” Thank you Nicki for a spectacular tour, and an even more spectacular personality. Much love from Toronto Gag City!!

    GAG CITY TORONTO ON TOP

by GCTBarb on 2024-04-21Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

I was a little hesitant on seeing Nicki since I wasn’t really impressed with her performance based on the videos I saw online. However, I am SO GLAD I solved my transportation issues and saw her live (my first ever concert). SHE WAS AMAZING. VIDEOS DO NOT EVEN DO HER JUSTICE. Her energy and stage presence was top notch. I screamed volumes I never knew were possible. I just wish people weren’t smoking around me but other than that it was amazing.

    Underwhelming Concert

    by Al26 on 2024-04-21Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

This was very underwhelming. When Nicki was on stage, she was great, but there were way too many intermissions and they were lengthy ones at that. Her long breaks killed the vibe and zapped the energy out of the building. Nicki Minaj even had Monica (her opening act) come and do an entire set in the middle of her own performance. Very poorly structured show.

le spectacle était incroyable. Mis à part le 3h00 de retard

by BarbsLandry on 2024-04-21Centre Bell - Montreal

Il me touchait toujours. Quand je voulais danser, j'étais en VIP, j'aurais aimé être traitée comme telle.

    Meh, IYKYK.

by Unimpressed Nicki Fan on 2024-04-21Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Expected way more from this concert. Had MANY dead points during the entire concert, too long of breaks in between her sets. Then @11PM, Monica came on and basically put the whole crowd to sleep. I was so excited to see Nicki, and this concert just wasn’t it. She barely sang, barely dance…. Do better. I won’t pay money again to see this concert. Sincerely, a very very disappointed Nicki fan.

Amazing visuals, good price, Nicki was tiny from 102 row 20

by Anna on 2024-04-21Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

Overall, I enjoyed my experience. She performed for over 2 hours but the show started 30 mins late. She rapped with no autotune and the visuals were FANTASTIC! But the online map of Scotiabank is tricky, I thought I was close to the stage in row 20, sec 102 but the venue and stage was very big, I could hardly notice Nicki. Sometimes I would lose her out of my sight.
