Funny and entertaining for a good cause!

by PierreL on 2011-05-18Hershey Centre - Mississauga

Russell delivered a pretty funny show. Not his absolute best stuff but still quite funny. All proceeds went to charity and there was a great turn out. Good show.

Russell's comedy always makes me feel good!

by Skyrocket on 2011-05-17Hershey Centre - Mississauga

This was the 4th time I saw Russell. My only worry was that he would repeat material from previous shows. 90% of his material was brand new and even the repeated lines still had me laughing again. I'm not sure if it is his voice, facial expressions, or just stage presence, but Russell Peters has a way of making people feel better. I know that during his performance, all I do is laugh and forget about my problems for a few hours. His show picks on all nationalities, but he does in a way so he is not offending people. If you have never seen him, I would suggest you go. He does use profanity, but only for portions of his show, so you are not hearing the "f" word all night long. I give this show 5 stars.

    Russell Peters was fabulous!!!

    by Terri19 on 2011-05-17Hershey Centre - Mississauga

I bought tickets for this show as a surprise for my son, who turned 19 the day of the show. When we got to Mississauga/Brampton :-)), and he finally guessed where I was taking him for the evening, his reaction was one of pure joy--He is a HUGE fan. The fact that I was able to get front row tickets added another layer of joy, although he would have sat on a bed of nails in the farthest row just to see his favourite comedian. The show did not disappoint us in any way, and the fact that it was in support of Heart House Hospice made it more special. The opening act was excellent and Russell, WAS Russell--always a step ahead, funnier than hell and a top-notch entertainer--for the under 30 crowd, he was SICK!!! (if you are over thirty, this means really good--I learned that Saturday night). We can't wait to see Russell again, maybe in London Ontario (I saw him there at Yuk Yuks when he was still an unknown fledgling). Thank you Russell for all the laughter, and don't ever change!!!

    Lots of Fun

Great fun evening. Although, I would change the venue - it was a nightmare getting out of the parking lot at the Hershey Centre.

    loosing his touch

by FrancaSig on 2011-05-16Hershey Centre - Mississauga

I thought he was ok, he use to be alot better before. His new material is ok but a little on the cheesy side. I thought I would be more in stiches but it was still somewhat funny.

    Russell Peters

by begal on 2011-05-16Hershey Centre - Mississauga

I was in awe of his ability to improvise and interact with the people in the first 2 rows. We laughed non stop for 90 minutes as Peter described his everyday experiences and travels with only his style of humour. As always his abiilty to speak in several ethic accents was brilliant. Above all he should be commended for his generousity.

    Amazing night of laughs!

by JMMN on 2011-05-16Hershey Centre - Mississauga

We had a fabulous time. Russell Peters was absolutely hilarious! What a great way to spend an evening. It was a real treat to have gotten tickets to this event, and I would gladly see him perform live again. That 100% of the ticket proceeds from the event went to Heart House Hospice was icing on the cake.
