The opening act was great but can't help but to feel Russell did not put much effort into the show. Felt like he was unprepared and winging it. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Hey!! At least the show was for a good cause.
We can't wait to see Peters again, hopefully very soon! We love his humour and we can definitely relate. My husband and I are Italian and we adore his jokes about us and our paesanos, LOL!!!
I've always idolized him as a stand-up comedian and I finally had my chance to see him live in a local community. I went there with high expectations and he didn't disappoint. Lots of original jokes and those ethnic jokes you can only get from Russell was just amazing. I would go see him again anytime if he does come near Toronto again. What an amazing show it was!
I went into the show with low expectations, ONLY so I wouldn't be disappointed if he re-used some of his material from the previous DVD's and shows... boy was I ever wrong. I think at one point I was doubled over from laughing so hard, as were all my friends... we loved Russell going into the show, and this event made my friends and I even bigger fans. My friends drove in from Windsor for the show, and I can guarantee they will be doing another show in the future based on his performance tonight...
Simply hilarious!!!! I saw him at the ACC last summer and it was a smaller venue this time but he was just as funny...no compromise.
A fantastic night out to have a great Laugh. would go and see him again and strongly recommend him to all.
Russell Peters is so genuine! I love him. He was so funny. I am so happy for him to achieve the success he has. I love how his mind works. So quick with the jokes, the expressions, voices. etc He made me laugh so much that I was wiping tears from my ears. I had no make up left after the show. My husband had a broken rib. He had to hold his side because he was laughing so hard. Laughing so hard is hurt but it was all worth it!
