by Enirehtak on 2012-02-13Casino Rama - RamaI think to have truly enjoyed this show, you would have to be a hard core Floyd fan. We were 4 people who enjoyed Pink Floyd in our youth. We only recognized 4 songs of the whole show. The 1st 45 minutes almost put us to sleep. The performers, the music, and sound quality were excellent though.

by blizzardwolf on 2012-02-13Casino Rama - RamaGreat concert, enjoyed everything, however it would of been nice if they had done an encore, 1 1/2 hours seemed to go by fast, they could of made it longer even by one or two songs.

Rating: 3 out of 5 Pink Floyd experience
by dolphinsrule on 2011-03-11Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoOk So Pink Floyd they are not! But we knew that going in so don't compare them to the original. They are a good cover band that happens to play the music of a band we all love. I know guys who can play Gilmour to a tee and this guy does a greart job for most of the songs. Also I have seen floyd live a few times and have never heard a or seen a sax played in echeos. I didn't care for their interpretation of Time. Nick Mason's drumming intro to Time is for me as a drummer a what develops the entire song. I was disappointed that they left it out. Also, For some reason they kept the volume level on the key boards alot lower than the rest of the band, even when the keyboard the the main instrument. Over all Like I said Pink Floyd they are not but for the most part they did do a pretty good job at playing some music we all like to hear and enjoy especially the oldies that you normally would not hear.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Incrediable
by Andyman1 on 2011-03-11Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoWell what can I say a night out with pink floyd !!! Well they were not Floyd but if you closed your eyed and sat back and soaked up the great sound that The Pink Floyd experience put out it was pretty dam close. I enjoyed the complete show all the band memebers did that special thing...That was to take you away to that special place with that impecable sound and show man ship...a great night out what a treat...Hats off
Rating: 4 out of 5 PFX was Great
by Spinner101010 on 2011-03-11Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoI was unhappy with the first 45 minutes. Animals is not one of my favorite albums and was hoping for greater things in the 2nd set. I wasnt dissapointed. The second set was amazing. The group is very tight on the music and the The kid on Sax was brilliant. Head guy "Quinn" was truly fantastic. vocals were at times low and at other times well done. Overall I was happy I went and would go again.
Rating: 4 out of 5by Zunker on 2011-03-11Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto Being a Floyd fan, I was very pleased witht the performance. Light show could have been better and we were unable to see the onstage screen because we sat so far back. But they played a good range of Floyd music including Echoes, a personal favourite. Sax player was great as was the rest of the guys in the band.
Rating: 2 out of 5 Bordering on Pathetic
by Anonymous on 2011-03-11Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoInstrumentals were great. Sax player stole the show. HOWEVER, Visuals (a screen behind the band) mediocre and a bit cliche. Lead singer's voice was like nails on a blackboard. Crowd not very engaged - maybe they were all stoned.
Rating: 4 out of 5 Pink Floyd Experience - good, not great
by GazzaTheHut on 2011-03-11Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoPFX played "Animals" in the first half and a variety of PF songs, old stuff and more recent stuff in the second half. Sound quality, staging and lighting were excellent but actual music lacked the energy of the originals. Songs sounded a little bit pedestrian as if the musicians were concentrating on reproducing the Pink Floyd songs rather than playing them with the emotion of the originals. Still very good, though, and worth the ticket price. Recommended.
Rating: 1 out of 5by Anonymous on 2011-03-11Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - Toronto Well, being a avid Floyd fan my entire life, I was very excited to see a band with such high reviews. Within the first 5 minutes I regretted this decision. This band goes against everything which the Floyd stood for throughout the years. I dont want to get into deep details, but if you are looking for an authentic Floyd experience, or if you want to hear how the Floyd should sound live, check out some other bands that are around. The ticket prices were astronomically high for such a poor representation of the Floyd's music, the tones achieved by the band members were more representative of 80s hair metal then classic Pink Floyd, light show was sub-par at best for having as many watts as they boast on their website. The small improvisational changes that the band made during the songs were not true to the Floyd's style, again, very 80s hair metal sounding. I thought the bass slaps and pops were going to blow the PA speakers at one point. To end this, I was a very disappointed Floyd fan Saturday night.
Rating: 1 out of 5 Pink Floyd Experience
by Imran on 2011-03-11Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoI have seen many performances over a period of 30 years. They have included original artists and also Franchise bands. This was the worst performance ever. These guys should be allowed to spoil the good name of Pink Flyod. The lead single from LA should find another job. The only reason they got 1 star is because there was nothing lower
Rating: 1 out of 5 Skip this!
by tiger246 on 2011-03-11Sony Centre For The Performing Arts - TorontoTalented guys but overall very boring. Did not play ANY popular songs other than the very last one (brick in the wall). Had to fight to keep my eyes from shutting. disappointing... i was looking forward to the show.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Pink Floyd Experience:WOW what an experience!!
by Sociialbutterfly22 on 2010-01-18River Rock Show Theatre - RichmondThe venue was perfect great sound and lights effect. The 3 giant screens helps to follow the idea of each song . The band it is like listening to the real Pink Floyd!

by wosj on 2010-01-18River Rock Show Theatre - RichmondFar too short, was only 90 min. Background screen show was more a shiny distraction than any experience augmentation. No light show of any consequence. Songs were severely shortened. Not worth attending. See a Pink Floyd Laserium instead, I wish I had.

by WATP on 2010-01-17River Rock Show Theatre - RichmondSpectacular...Just like the real thing, but in a small intimate venue. The sound was pristine. I could have listened for hours. Definitely see these guys again.
Rating: 3 out of 5 Awesome, but too short
by marz21 on 2010-01-17River Rock Show Theatre - RichmondThe show was great, any Floyd fan would enjoy this. But $45 for a 1hr 35min show seem a little much. The $45 bucks I can handle, but at least 2hr was expected.
