About

The Rolling Stones are one of the most influential and longest-lasting bands to cross over during the ’60s British Invasion. The group stands as one of the best-selling acts of all time with 200 million records sold worldwide, and is responsible for two of the highest-grossing tours of all time within the last two decades. Blending blues and rock, the first main lineup of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Brian Jones, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts broke out in 1965 with their first chart-topping album Out of Our Heads and back-to-back Hot 100 No. 1 singles “(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction” and “Get Off of My Cloud.” The group topped the Hot 100 again with 1966’s “Paint It, Black,” 1967’s “Ruby Tuesday” and 1969’s “Honky Tonk Women.” With the addition of guitarist Mick Taylor, The Rolling Stones released their second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with 1971’s Sticky Fingers, kicking off a streak of eight consecutive chart-topping debuts through 1981’s Tattoo You. Ronnie Wood made his debut as Taylor’s full-time replacement with 1978’s Some Girls, which hosted the group’s Hot 100 No. 1 “Miss You.” The Rolling Stones were the recipients of The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 1987, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. They collected their first of three career Grammy Awards in 1995. The group broke the record for highest-grossing tour in 1990 and reclaimed the top spot in 1995 and 2007, becoming the only band to headline the highest-grossing tour of the decade twice. The No Filter World Tour from 2017 to 2021 closed as the fifth highest-earning tour ever. Most recently, the band released their first album of original material in 18 years, 2023’s Hackney Diamonds.

No Filter Seattle Show August 14th-2019

by Howard K on 2019-08-19CenturyLink Field - Seattle

I have seen the Rolling Stones 7 times over the past 30 years- and I have never left a show disappointed. My wife and I went to see them this time because....well you never know when it will be the last time (no pun intended). The Seattle show on Aug 14th was another amazing experience. The set list was jammed full of the classics along with some excellent surprises and left turns (Sweet Virginia and Dead Flowers) during the acoustic set, and of course Keith doing You Got the Silver and Before they Make Me Run. Midnight Rambler was absolutely mind blowing -played with an intensity and rawness that matched how they did it over 40 years ago. Seeing them crank out energizing and amazing shows like this- despite the fact they are all in their 70's....was incredible and inspiring. Long live the Rolling Stones!

    They can still rock!

by Debbe on 2019-08-18CenturyLink Field - Seattle

Mick still has the energy of a 30 year old! dancing around the stage, giving all the fans what they wanted. Ronny Wood was also running around the stage a lot. Both big showmen. The opening act, Lucas Nelson band was also very good. Did not disappoint

Great show once you got in

    by K. on 2019-08-18CenturyLink Field - Seattle

The Rolling Stones were fabulous. Mick was in fine form. Keith, was Keith, wonderful as usual. Completely missed the opening act. Lineups to get in were insane. Must of taken us at least an hour to get in and we got sent to a special lineup because of my disability. Really need to work on entry.

    Best yet!

by Beast of Burden on 2019-08-18CenturyLink Field - Seattle

Our fourth opportunity to see The Stones and one of the best ever! Keith was Satan with a guitar, Mick was as charismatic as ever, Charlie the steadfast pillar and of course Ronnie the slide king!

    Good with a couple exceptions

by Mouse on 2019-08-18CenturyLink Field - Seattle

When trying to enter Centurylink Field is was ridiculous! They had zero signage to say where floor tickets were to enter. We went to security 3 times before finding the correct entrance. The sign there was maybe 8" x 8". I feel like the stage show was not great at all. The fire works sucked! I went to the Stones yrs ago & it was way better.

    Epic!

by Ree on 2019-08-17CenturyLink Field - Seattle

First time to Century Link Field - best ever venue! Ocean view on the ramp up to our level - city/ sky scape from seats - sound - perfection! This was my 4th time seeing the Rolling Stones, and I swear, they just get better and better! Mick’s bass and falsetto were right on point, his strut still as hot as ever, and the rest of the gang, all of them, were masters of their craft. The crowd, aged 7-79, was so very happy to be there, jumping up and dancing spontaneously, myself included. What a happy, happy day; epic event. Thank you 😀👍🎼

    Magical

by Morgan on 2019-08-17CenturyLink Field - Seattle

The Rolling Stones are one of my favourite bands. My seats weren’t awesome so I was worried I wasn’t going to be as satisfied sitting far from the stage but was I mistaken. Mick’s vocals were unbelievable and even though the venue was HUGE, it still felt very personal. Keith Richards played beautifully and Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts were excellent as well. The sound quality was very good and the view of Seattle in the background added to the magic of the entire thing. I cried with joy at least once every song. They definitely did not disappoint. I hope they tour one more time because I would love to be able to see them twice in my life time.

    Schooled by Mick

by Kathy on 2019-08-17CenturyLink Field - Seattle

I’m not a Rolling Stones fan but my husband has been one since his teens. In particular, he’s a Keith Richards fan and is influenced by him when he is playing his guitar in his boomer band, so I got him tix for the Stones as a gift. I just want to start off by saying that Mick Jagger was incredible. For a 76 year old to be doing what he was on stage is impressive enough, never mind the fact he recently had open heart surgery. He totally carried the concert. Ronnie Wood and Daryl Jones seemed to be on their game too while Charlie Watts seemed super focused - solid. Keith on the other hand looked like he was being propped up by steel shank from behind. In spite of this my husband’s lifelong affection for his hero remains undaunted I caught a glimpse of him with, I think his daughter, before he went up on stage and he saw me too cause I was there alone while everyone else was inside Centurylink Field. He kind of seemed irritated to see me and quickly walked away. I hope he’s ok.. I would have actual given the concert 5 stars, but had to deduct one because I just can’t get that look of disappoint and almost defeat that my husband had on his face as he watched his hero struggle (most likely lifestyle related) during his time on stage Other than that, for “not a fan” I thought it was a really good concert.
