Very good adaptation. Lots of laughs and good music.

We truly enjoyed the performance. Reminded us of seeing Spamalot on Broadway. The cast was great and the production was first rate. Igor was hysterical and the cast was obviously enjoying the play. See it if you can!

I've seen Mel Brooks' movie "Young Frankenstein" several times, and even though I expected many of the one liners from the movie, seeing the actions live in the play made the jokes even funnier. The Cast was supurb, the venue was beautiful. The parking was expensive. Have to go now, I may have a blind date!

Maybe more suitable for an elderly audience, I didn't find humor funny.

The addition of more crass jokes (than the movie) was not really necessary, and the accents faded in and out throughout the show. Other than those two minor annoyances, the singers were fantastic, the dancing was enjoyable, and Roger Bart as Frederick Frankenstein was tremendous. Although Igor was overly-overacted, the roles of Inga, Elizabeth, and the Monster were all phenomenal (especially Inga's yodeling!)

The first Act of Young frankenstien was brilliant. Very fun and funny. The songs were lively, the dancing was exellent, the acting was great. My only beef was that the second act seemed to run out of steam, and the script tried to stick too close to the movie. No big departures or surprises. But the visuals were stunning - great sets and lighting and costumes. Kudos to the designers. And of course the choreography was inspired as you would expect. There were many nods to the "classic" broadway form with a lot of playful twists. The screen were the dancers assemble the giant monster in the first act was very imaginative. But the topper was the extended "Putting on the Ritz" sequence, taps and all. Just fantastic. Bo wonder they seemed to run out of steam right at the end of the show - this cast must have been exhausted. All in all, very good, but one step behind the Producers.
