    Artistic Gymnastics

by Busbis on 2015-07-15TCO-Toronto Coliseum - Toronto

Great outing for my daughter to see what the competitions were actually like. She loved it! Alot to see at one time so you had to keep looking around to see all the events as they took place. Extremely expensive - seats were ok - cost $65 each for only an hour and 15 minutes - good thing the train was free

    Artistic Gymnastics was Awesome!!

    by IsM3 on 2015-07-15TCO-Toronto Coliseum - Toronto

It was so amazing to be part of such a wonderful event in TO!!! We watched artistic gymnastics...we found it a bit confusing to watch as there were 4 events going on at the same time but after a while we learnt to switch our attention to the various events. GO CANADA GO!!

    Amazing

    by Sunshine42 on 2015-07-15TCO-Toronto Coliseum - Toronto

The venue was amazing for a gymnastics competition. I had bought expensive seats but it seems all seats were good. It was easy to follow the action and the two big screens were helpful too since replays were being shown. The gymnasts were all amazing.

    Gymnastics overpriced!

by Anonymous on 2015-07-15TCO-Toronto Coliseum - Toronto

I love gymnastics however I found that the tickets were overpriced for the amount of time at the event compared to other events. I would have gone to more events but clearly the price was based on popularity and unfortunately makes it unaffordable to go to more events with a family. Over $200 for less than 2 hours is ridiculous!

    So much fun!!!

by PanamTorontoFan on 2015-07-14Ricoh Coliseum - Toronto

Had a wonderful time - taking the Go Train for free was effortless and efficient. All of the volunteers both on the way to the event and and at it were smiling and reaching out to help people without being asked for help first. The only reason why I am not giving this experience 5 stars is because it was too short - just over an hour! I was expecting more, and now I'm longing to go to another event!

Great event, with some technical difficulties

by ElizabethC on 2015-07-14TCO-Toronto Coliseum - Toronto

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the men's gymnastics, although from the way this was billed we thought that a medal or medals would be awarded during this session and this was not the case. I'm not sure whether there were technical difficulties or whether the acoustics in that venue are always terrible, but the announcements were completely inaudible. It would have been helpful to have some explanation about what was happening, the results, and what the next stage was for the athletes.

    GYMNASTICS WERE FANTASTIC

by Newarthill on 2015-07-14TCO-Toronto Coliseum - Toronto

We saw six gymnastic fetes, all of which were exciting to watch. The venue was well manned, however looking for answers to questions was something else. Example: Is there a program? I don't know, maybe you could get one at the information desk at the door! I know the majority of people are Volunteers, but I feel they should have been coached more. However, the event was well organised and put together extremely well.

    Very happy

by RosannaI on 2015-07-14TCO-Toronto Coliseum - Toronto

I heard complaints that PanAm tickets were complicated to buy. I didn't find that at all. The only suggestion I would make is that you specify the event is Men's or Women's Gymnastics. I bought my tickets thinking this was a women's event but it was a men's. I don't recall seeing anything in the process of purchasing my tickets that specified this.

    Athletes awesome...planning..not so much!

    by 78912 on 2015-07-14TCO-Toronto Coliseum - Toronto

We loved the gymnastics event! The athletes were incredible! We arrived by GO train at 1 pm on Saturday and volunteers were sitting on grass drinking pop and talking, they weren't standing and welcoming people to the games! We went into Panamanian grounds and no one was on stage performing. This was one hour before the main event! A ton of white tents were set up on grounds but they were all empty!! Unbelievable! There was one big tent with cars in it and a race track set up! Don't know how this related to the games at all! We gave up and went to the doors of Ricoh to ask if we were entering through those doors and volunteer had no idea! We finally got in and no pamphlet was given out at all. A lot of us in the audience were saying we would have liked to know the names of the teams as well as the athletes and what would be happening! We had no idea! Teams were brought out with a volunteer leading them with a three letter sign! It was hard to read and all of us were trying to remember who was who during the events. The signs could have been put up beside the particular team as they were competing, but they weren't! USA and Canada had almost identical uniforms! All red! I think the organizational aspect of the games has not followed through to make sure the spectators know what is going on and where to go! The athletes were absolutely amazing! If we are looking to bid on Olympics, all of these issues need to be addressed!
