TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games Tickets

Overall, the show was spectacular. The energy and emotions were high and exhilarating. The entrance of all the athletes was very moving. To share in their obvious excitement was special. The Cirque du Soleil show was spectacular. The creativity and talent of that part of the show was amazing. Ending with the torch bearers was emotional and energizing. My disappointment was my seat which was in the 2nd row from the top. I was far enough away that the activity on stage was not clear. The big screens even seemed far away and did not always have on them what I wanted to see. Thank goodness, I had opera glasses with me. It would have been nice to have Serena Ryder perform live. Having said that,I am so pleased I was there for these ceremonies and feel it was a chance of a lifetime.

Apparently people who did not pay for the event had much better show that us. There were not enough screens -we didn't had anything in our section and the ones available where very small (for the event) The show was so little that it was absolutely lost in such a huge scenario. This explains why the Circ de Solei has a small tent. The show was absolutely bla, without any highlight point. noting. However, the televised show looked great. we saw it, but we could not appreciate the beauty as the show was designed not for us, but for TV. The fire works, are you kidding me? we missed it!!! as the dome remains close the whole time and as the screens were so small the CN towers shots were incomplete. Terrible!!!!! Another observation is that anybody outside the venue couldn´t tell us where out gate was. Any of them!! so I wonder what were they trained for? Better wach it at home or outside for free.

the ceremony ticket was overpriced for the show delivered. I expected it to be memorable and spectacular especially with the price !! Very very Dissapointed ! The screens were too small and the show was boring ... Again not worth the $355+ per ticket price .

An enjoyable evening. It was a lot of fun being there.

very disappointing. A wasted hour at the start except for the comedienne. Very very dark inside so missed a lot of the Cirque de Soleil. Speeches in the wrong place.Definitely not worth the $235.00 per ticket so we gave away our tickets for the finale.

I was so excited to attend the Opening Ceremonies in person. This is the kind of event I've always wanted to attend. I paid top price for my seat and it was the most I have ever paid for a ticket to any event- $355. The pre-show was rather lame and I didn't see the point of having English-speaking comedians for a multi-lingual audience. At first I thought this was the main show as we had been told this would start at 7 p.m. However, the main event was at 8 and was fabulous. So impressed. Having since watched the recorded version on TV, I realize we didn't get any of the commentary that TV viewers get. Perhaps this could have been on screens or handed out to ticket holders. It would have been nice to know the meaning of everything. Anyway, it was a spine-tingling event and I loved it.

having cbc talking for 1h was a drag. People were really annoyed. Presentation was too long. It should have been focused more on the athletes

Great opening ceremonies, but the speeches were far too long. No one informed us that if you wanted to see the lighting of the torch or fireworks you had to leave and go outside

The show was nice but we were too high up to appreciate the details as we could not see clearly from the 500 section.

Security, Organization and high performance were some of the highlights of Pan Am opening ceremony and of course the fireworks from the CN Tower!

The opening ceremony offered an evening packed with entertainment! The planning was outstanding and incredibly impressive. Aside from some very long and unnecessary speeches that the audience had to endure.. the evening was perfection! Thank you Toronto!!

Cirque de Soleil never fails to entertain and amaze with a totally original performance. From it's amazing music, to the spectacular stunts that included flips over a line of fire, to a ton of cyclists riding around the athletes and doing flips from ramps around the whole stadium. The only moment when the stadium wasn't electric was a long speech by the head of Pan Am but that's to be expected. They made great cultural nods to our first nations, the changing seasons and even the railroad that stretched from sea to sea to unite our country together. I really hope that the next time Canada or Toronto hosts a big event like this, they get Cirque de Soleil to do it because they always do an amazing job. No matter where you are sitting in the stadium, you will have a great time watching them and getting into the music and dance. (and I should know since I was sitting one row from the top!)

What an event. Cirque du Soleil was impecable. Everything worked as a charm.

This was a spectacular show ! Would have liked the RCMP on their horses because this is unique to our country. The female comedian was very funny and got the audience pumped up and the energy I was hoping for from the thousands in the audience reached the level I expected . Unfortunately the first comedian could not excite the audience with telling jokes about kids with snotty noses.

I loved the show and was exciting to be part of it. It was great to be there live, watching all these young athletes representing their countries. A very proud moment indeed. Was a nice evening, but I was disappointed that the roof was not open for those inside to see the fireworks at the end. Also our seats were way up high and we could not even read the writing on the large screen and our view was partially blocked by equipment hanging from the ceiling. Seeing that I got presale tickets, I had hoped at least to have had a little better seat than that. I'm not wanting to complain or be a downer, but think it's important for the organizers to know everyone's experience at this venue and perhaps in the future get a larger screen or make the writing larger.

I had the highest paid tickets and could not see the individuals who performed in the show. They were way too far back on the stage. Better to stay home and watch. You also get the commentary that is not available while at the stadium. Also, the screens were very small to watch on.

The ceremony was very good, the openig act let me with a lot of emotions!!! The ceremony was very good and unforgettable!!!!

I felt incredibly proud of how well the Pan Am Opening ceremonies was orchestrated. The show was unbelievable and watching the athletes parade into the dome was exciting. Well done Toronto!

What an exciting evening. Over the course of the evening the energy just kept building up. From the time the athletes entered into the stadium, to the perfomances by Cirque du Soleil, flags brought in my our national heros and lighting of the torch. The fireworks were incredible. Goose bumps the whole evening. So happy we got tickets to this event!
