The troubadour lyrics were mostly impossible to hear as the sound system for his voice was horrible. I am a big Dylan fan ( from now on record only) and I know there are musical adjustment he likes to make when he plays live. I was prepared for that and looking forward to the new renditions. But I could barely make out any of the words from the Nobel Peace Prize Winner for Literature. The band was tight; no problem there. I wasn't happy with the drummer's arrangements - seemed a lot of constant banging. I know, weird to say but that style did not enhance the show, for me. Perhaps Bob wanted that constant, demanding beat. After an hour and only being able to recognize Maggie's' Farm (?) and Highway 61 I'd had enough and we left.
I've seen other bands at Rogers and the sound and vocals all worked well, e.g.; Fleetwood Mac, Bette Midler etc. The Rolling Stones had GREAT sound, including vocals when they played at BC Place. In my opinion Bob needs a better sound manager or appropriate equipment for the venue.
I want to commend the staff everywhere in the arena. They were all great hosts; very accommodating and helpful in directing us for any of our needs.

Autumn Leaves
Rogers Arena - Vancouver
We thought that this was the best Dylan concert in years. His voice was both clearer and stronger than it has been for a while, The arrangements were outstanding, the musicianship extraordinary, the choices great and meaningful. And then there was Bob.
This was my 21st time starting with a small coffee house, the Finjan, located above a bakery in Montreal in 1961.
This concert, we thought, was somewhat autobiographical and perhaps a little sad. His interpretations of Sinatra songs made it sound as though each number was his own. The opening song, Things Have Changed, to The Love that Faded to I Paid in Blood to the new poetry of Tangled Up in Blue and Autumn Leaves we got a picture of a poet who has always been "far beyond his rightful time". It was a story of reflection, the tale told by the master wordsmith. The concert seemed a lifetime too short.

A legend but completely impersonal...
Rogers Arena - Vancouver
The show was amazing, music was great, the band was phenomenal!! But Dylan literally said nothing... didn't say hello, thank you, good night... walked on stage played, set over, lights out, walk off, lights on, encore, lights out, walk off... nothing!!! Fans pay a ton of money to see you and you don't have the decency to even acknowledge us? I was rather disappointed with that lack of common curtesy... yes the show was great but man his people skills could use work..

Bob Dylan disappointment
Prince George CN Centre - Prince George
while the music was very good to listen to; it is with disappointment that I can't say the concert was incredible. We paid top price for 3 front row seats (the VIP pkg). Unfortunately, Mr. Dylan was set so far back on the stage that we couldn't see him and he sat at his piano during the concert. One of the main reasons for obtaining front row seats is to get a good view of the performer, but the price we paid was far beyond what it was worth in my opinion.
However, definitely would go see him again if a good view of him performing can be obtained.

Dylan is Dylan
Prince George CN Centre - Prince George
We went into the concert knowing that Dylan doesn't talk about the songs or anything else, so it wasn't surprising that the concert was one song after another. Very little nostalgia; most songs were more recent composition. My husband who a big Dylan fan said he understood only about 10% of the words, also not a surprise.
There weren't screens so the concert mostly was listening with no visual. Most songs were done at the piano and he was hidden behind the piano or the sound system. We have a good sound system at home so except for feeling to be part of a concert, we wouldn't go again. Been there, done it.

Forgetable
Rogers Arena - Vancouver
Bob's still got it but he plays for himself and the audience is only there to fill seats. No hits from the past other than an old Peter Paul and Mary favourite. Would like to have heard a few words from the man but it was not to be. Not so much as an utterance or recognition that we were there. Coupled with Bob's words to melody being lost in the muffled acoustics of Rogers Arena it became a pointless evening. Better to download a sound bite.

Dylan was ... Dylan
Rogers Arena - Vancouver
Dylan did not seem like he cared about what city he was in and was not engaged with the audience, he didn't play anything recognizable and it would have been nice for him to play something that the fans that paid to see him
Wanted to hear.

Could have been better
Rogers Arena - Vancouver
The sound started off pretty horrible. They got the instrumentals figured out and they sounded fantastic but the vocals were really bad. Not from Bob Dylan but from the sound settings, were unable to understand anything that was being said. Ended up leaving early.

Disappointing
Rogers Arena - Vancouver
It's Bob Dylan, I'll admit the stage was intimate but really wanted to hear some of his best--it could be the last time he performs
