He had fun
Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex - Kitchener
Dylan seems to be touring small venues as a way of enjoying himself and sharing the joy with his audience. The voice, such as it was, is gone. He doesn't have the pipes for "Rainy Day Women," let alone "Lay Lady Lay." But when he's doing blues stuff, or stuff that echoes Highway 51, he does excellent work. He's also enjoying old time country-western. The nods to Bob Wills and to Jimmy Rodgers were a hoot. I came to see Dylan, but I stayed to hear Charlie Sexton play lead guitar in the band. He was extraordinary and I'd certainly pay to hear him again. (I've seen performances by Dylan, Ray Charles and Fats Domino when each of them was about the same age. Fats had the most fun and gave the most energy, followed closely by Dylan. Neither of them held the audience in the same apparent contempt as Brother Ray did.)

In my opinion, as good as it gets at this stage in his career.

Bob Dylan sounded great
Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex - Kitchener
We got there at 745 and were pleased to find parking in the big lot - by the time we got inside it was 750 - and we missed the first song or two - but he sounded great and went from one song to another - the only disappointment was no blowing in the wind

Dylan as great as ever
Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex - Kitchener
It was an amazing show, as good as when I saw him in the 70's. The only bad thing about it was the audience. A large number arrived late and a lot seemed to think it was a place to go and drink. I am amazed at how inconsiderate people can be, they should remember that there were people there who came to "listen to the music".

Pretty good

An interesting and pretty good concert. Not much audience interaction by Dylan but focussed and more energetic than expected. Crowd was certainly into in the floors not so much in the stands. Nice small venue.

Bob is still Bob.

Bob Dylan was exactly as expected. He never sings a song the same way twice. Fans were incredible. What a great age spread....20 to 70

sound was terrible, even the songs that people knew were changed so the only reason you new them was by the words. I have seen beeter "blues" shows by unknowns.

Outstanding Band
Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Complex - Kitchener
The event lasted about 1 3/4 hours without a break. The band were obviously very talented musicians and could really rock. Anyone coming expecting Bob Dylan to sing his tunes with just his acoustic guitar and harmonica would be sorely disappointed. Dylan's singing was not exactly pristine to say the least. It was very difficult to recognize the words even if you knew them. But we went with an open mind and to see a legend and were not disappointed in the quality of the music.
