Concert was great, VIP experience wasn’t
Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto
We purchased Silver VIP tickets last year and the concert was cancelled. We purchased the same for this year. We stood outside waiting to get in and the venue stated it’d be another 17 mins, we waited over 30 mins. Once we got in the VIP bags were not put together, we were passed a bag, envelope with our sticker and lanyard. The silent disco was a flop, a good portion of the earphones didn’t work. At first the security guard wouldn’t let the VIP’s to the merch table. When we got to the merch table there were only 5 clothing items to choose from. While the VIP’s were upstairs getting photos done with Johnny and Robby, we were told that a signed copy of the set list was just put out at the merch table. By the time the VIP’s were done, the set list was sold out. A lady I met in the line up and I explained this to the VIP Rep and she came back downstairs with one, which was kind but there was two of us and only one copy. Overall the VIP experience was unorganized and disappointing. Meeting Johnny and Robby was great, we had all of maybe 1 minute to shake hands and have the photo taken. Both were very kind but it felt very rushed by the VIP Rep. The concert was awesome and Johnny interacted with the crowd and kept everyone entertained.

Awesome show!
Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto
25 years going strong! They sound great, have so much energy and play a good mix of old hits and new songs. Also, the Queen Elizabeth Theatre is so nice and intimate

Fantastic!!
Amazing show!! Felt like we were in a club because of the small venue. John Rzeznik is such a charismatic lead singer.

Outstanding!
Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto
The show was at a small cozy venue where it made you feel as though you were really up close and personal with the band which was amazing. The Goo’s put a lot of energy into their performance, interaction with the crowd, and John really showcased his talent with his long guitar riffs. The Goo’s definitely keep you coming back for more. It was a real treat to catch them at the last show (Toronto) on their tour just an arms length away from their hometown Buffalo.

Great concert!
Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Toronto
For a 2-hour concert on a Monday night, I'd rather not having an opening band. Especially because the band wasn't great and the vocalist was extremely drunk. But when Goo Goo Dolls started to play, was simply amazing! They're great and the lights were so captivating!

GOO GOO DOLLS IN CONCERT:
Backed by a catalog of hits and a pile of platinum records, these Buffalo alt-rockers continue to repay the fans that built them with epic showmanship and tireless performances. Though they’ve ruled the pop-rock charts since the mid-90s, they were born in the punk rock trenches and never skimp on energy or spectacle when they're live on stage. Back on the road in 2014 in support of their tenth studio album Magnetic, the Dolls will be joined by Daughtry and the Plain White T's, making for one heck of an all-star rock lineup.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in upstate New York, the Goo Goo Dolls toiled in Northeast punk and college rock anonymity for nearly a decade before achieving breakthrough success with 1995's A Boy Named Goo. Featuring catchy '90s alt-rock staples like “Name” and “Naked," the album went double-platinum, thrusting them to national attention. 1998 follow-up Dizzy Up the Girl was an even bigger hit, catapulting the band to international superstardom with No. 1 smash "Iris," which garnered several Grammy nominations including Song of the Year. Since then, the band has continued to record and tour to critical acclaim, hitting the road once again in 2014 in support of their tenth studio album Magnetic.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"I cannot say how much I love the Goo Goo Dolls! This concert was just as good as the previous concerts I have attended. Johnny looked as sexy as ever and the band can still rock out after all these years. I will never get tired of attending their concerts.”
"This is my 3rd time seeing the Goo Goo Dolls & they are incredible live. I love them!"
“This was the best I have ever seen the GGDs. There was so much energy and you could see how much they enjoyed playing. This was hit after hit of great music!"
