Thundering, melodic guitars and brooding, vulnerable vocals are among the many things that have made Bury Tomorrow heroes in the metal world. Bury Tomorrow is a metalcore band that has striven to become one of the most beloved names on the scene. Bury Tomorrow is set to tour through Australia, Belgium, Austria, Germany, the United States, and Canada in 2023, performing to adoring fans across the globe. With a heavy sound and high energy, Bury Tomorrow likes to bring the audience into the show. Epic solos, improvisations and giving the fans the songs they love, Bury Tomorrow will shake up any stage, big or small. Their first album came in 2009 with Portraits. Three years later, they followed up with The Union Of Crowns (2012), which built on what they had learned from their previous work. Runes (2014) was their next album, followed by Earthbound (2016), both of which held to the band's roots while expanding and experimenting with their sound. In 2018, Bury Tomorrow released Black Flame, which was critically hailed by many. They then released their album Cannibal in 2020.

Bury Tomorrow was formed in Southampton, England, in 2006 by brothers Daniel and Davyd Winter-Bates, as vocalist and bassist, respectively; drummer Adam Jackson; guitarist Mehdi Vismara; and Jason Cameron on rhythm guitar and vocals. Vismara left in 2013, with Kristan Dawson taking over as lead guitarist. Cameron left the band on amicable terms in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to the addition of two new members to the band: Tom Prendergast on keyboards and vocals as well as Ed Hartwell on rhythm guitar. Mental health has been a major focus of Bury Tomorrow, both in and out of their music. The band's lyrics often concern mental illness, pulling from Daniel Winter-Bates personal experiences with depression. Daniel Winter-Bates also works as a culture improvement facilitator for the NHS.

"I'm glad [my struggles] have happened because to be an ambassador for it I want to know about it," said Daniel Winter-Bates in a 2020 interview with Metal Hammer. "It's s*** that I have constant anxiety or a tendency to be depressed but it's actually opened my eyes to so much more and given me the ability to use a platform positively, which is awesome. I've educated myself on mental health and have lived experience and I just want to let everyone know this is something tangible that everyone can go through and it's alright to talk about it positively. I've gained more than I've lost."

The band has worked to get more raw and honest over time, with outings such as Black Flame (2018) and Cannibal (2020) baring a great deal of emotion and insight. It's not just Daniel Winter-Bates exploring mental health issues, as the other band members often put their emotions and experiences into the band's songs. Bury Tomorrow has more than 700,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Their most popular track, "Choke," has been streamed more than 26 million times. Their single "Black Flame" also has more than 20 million streams.
