I had a great time at the game. The electronic ticket process via Ticketmaster was a breeze.

Miami HEAT History
Founded in 1988 as an expansion franchise, the Miami HEAT are one of the NBA's premier organizations, laying claim to 16 Southeast Division titles, seven Eastern Conference titles, and three NBA Championships. After hiring renowned NBA coach Pat Riley in 1995, the team won its first Championship in 2006, led by Hall of Famers Shaquille O'Neal, Dwyane Wade, Alonzo Mourning, and Gary Payton. Miami then captured back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013 with their “Big Three” consisting of Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh.
In the summer of 2019, much of the team's current core began to take shape, as the HEAT drafted guard Tyler Herro, then acquired All-Star guard Jimmy Butler to round out a roster that already featured promising big Bam Adebayo. In their current form, the team has reached the Finals twice (in 2020 and 2023).

by valentinebb on 2017-03-21AmericanAirlines Arena - MiamiEasily accessible from area hotels. Walking distance. Easy to navigate. Pleasant staff inside and outside arena. Great selection of snacks and food. Clean. Streets were blocked off by police so it was safe when game let out to walk back to hotel. Conveniently located next to mall.
