I enjoyed the skills competition but not as much as I did at the one I went to one back in 2001 or 2002 which seemed to be much better, much more organized, and was actually a skills competition, unlike this one.
It was cute to see other hockey players in Timbit hockey and such but I paid to see a Leafs skills competition so watching them not trying their best to score on a kid wasn`t really all that fun. I was there to see the skills of the Leafs. The whole judging panel was dumb...just take it out all together. That`s more fun for the people doing it, not for the audience.
I feel like I paid $25 for a comedy show rather than a skills competition. Honestly, other than 2 events, the target shot and the hardest shot, there was no other event that day that showed off the Leafs skills. If it`s a hockey competition for all ages, than don`t call it a Leafs skills competition because I expect to see the skills of the Toronto Maple Leafs displayed. That`s what the advertising suggested but I don`t feel that`s what the paying fans got.
It was great that parking was only $5 across the street but $7 for a hot dog and $4 for a bottle of pop in the ACC is absolutely ridiculous!!
