Calgary Surge Tickets

Went to the semi-final game on August 6 between Calgary & Edmonton. It was an entertaining and exciting game. This was my third game this season. I have enjoyed the games so much that I signed up for Season Tickets. It is great to have a basketball team in Calgary.

We had a great time. From outdoor activities before the game, good snacks, great basketball, fun timeout and intermission games. We truly enjoyed ourselves. The only thing I would change is a few more non alcoholic drink options, and we couldn’t really hear the female announcer for all the games and interviews, other than that it was fun.

Basketball was fine. The players are very athletic. I’m not a fan of music playing during play. The sound system was terrible. Very loud but half the time could not hear the announcers

First Surge game for us. I took my son and two nephews to see the game and we weren't too sure what to expect. Entering the venue at Winsport, you could immediately see that there were no bad seats in the place. We bought the $37 tickets at the East end and had a great view from row G. The game itself was fantastic as the Surge took and early lead and kept it right to the end. I was not used to the Target Score with 4 minutes left, but it was a good surprise and added a new element that I haven't seen at a basketball game before. The players were great and signed some of the merch that the boys purchased. All of the boys (ages 9, 10, 11, 13) were very happy with it all including getting a response from the players after posting on instagram!! Well done, Calgary Surge! We will be back.

It was a fun energetic night out! We were surprised by the crowd. Parking is slow, so go early. We missed tip off.

So awesome to have a basketball team back in Calgary! It was so much fun and they make the whole experience very exciting and high energy! I gave it 4 stars as the acoustics in the venue need improvement….it echo’s a lot and we couldn’t really understand what the announcer was saying and certain songs just sounded like noise, even though the music and the DJ was great! 4.5 stars in my opinion.

Had lots of fun. Will most likely go again and bring some family and friends to share the excitement with.

The stadium is wonderful as no seat is bad. The cheapest ticket cost is relatively high compared to NBA games but compared to the proximity to the court it is a good deal. The quality of the game looks very close to the NBA to the normal fan and the players size is similar. With no commercials the games fly by. Also they play the target score (Elam ending) so the game always ends in a made shot. No public transport to the stadium and it is in the far NW may make it challenging to visitors. Otherwise it is a $10 parking fee. All in all, I think this is a great time if you love watching live sports.

Great vibe as soon as you enter the arena. A young crowd, music is bumping and the game was awesome!

Great fast paced basketball. The “Target Score” in the final 4 minutes is a very cool concept and made the game even more exciting. One small concern is the announcers and in game host were hard to hear so that could be approved. Other then that looking forward to going to a game again soon.
