Comprised of Ryan Guldemond (vocals, guitar), Molly Guldemond (vocals, keys), Jasmin Parkin (vocals, keys), Ali Siadat (drums) and Mike Young (bass), Mother Mother are best known for their deep connection with their fans, and for bringing stadium-sized energy to their live show, no matter the stage. Singing about themes of alienation and enormous longing for self and societal acceptance, the band's mission is to be a home for souls that feel they don't fit in anywhere else.
Mother Mother were recently catapulted into a new stratosphere of universal success following the release of their critically acclaimed studio album INSIDE. Their explosive follow-up to "Hayloft," "Hayloft II" connected with fans around the world and is now certified Gold in the US and approaching Platinum in their home country of Canada. A string of #1 radio hits in Canada, 6 billion global streams, and multiple Billboard chart appearances cement their newfound global success.
The quintet spent most of the last year touring the world playing to sold-out audiences in theaters to stadiums, with multiple sold-out headline tours in Europe, UK, Canada, Australia and the U.S. as well as past and upcoming festival plays at Reading + Leeds, Lollapalooza in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Berlin, Corona Capital in Mexico, Pukkelpop Belgium, Frequency Festival in Austria, Lowlands in The Netherlands and more.
FirstOntario Hamilton first time seeing Mother Mother with Monowhales
From the opening act to the end of the show, everything was wonderful. The Monowhales did a wonderful job and the energy their lead singer was electric. Mother Mother is such a wonderful band, and did a wonderful job. No matter what song they played, it was always fun.
First time going to a mother mother concert, it was amazing the singers were all really friendly. The music was awesome and sound exactly like their music. They gave free water to whoever wanted it, interacted a lot with the crowd, and they were really kind. I am definitely going to another mother mother concert again!
This concert changed my life no joke. Everyone was so nice, Ryan (the main vocalist/guitarist) was so nice and even stopped the concert when a fan passed out.
5th time seeing Mother Mother, always put on a great show. London music hall is a great venue, love small venue shows.
First off, the opener MonoWhales was incredible! Mother Mother was already one of my favourite bands but after seeing this show they are up there in my top 5 favourites. They are such genuinely great people and the energy in the venue was amazing. I will 110% be seeing them again and the VIP tickets were so worth it. The concert felt short because I didn't want it to end and they sound even better live than I could ever imagine. If you like Mother Mother you won't be disappointed by them.
The opening band and Mother Mother were both great but even though I did not have my child with me, I was worrying about everyone elses, it's great that these kids got to see their first concert but not sure I like all ages shows in this type of venue, and trying not to shove teenagers made it so I ended up getting separated from my husband.
I was bummed about the meet and greet Oshawa cancellation, but road tripped to LONDON and my daughter had a great time at her first concert!
The music was good, definitely loved the opening band, but the actual show didn’t start until 2 1/2 hours after they opened the doors.
Loved the energy—so positive—and how they kept it all about the music! Can’t wait to see them again! Really great opening band as well :)
Mother Mother never disappoint. They’re a brilliant band that gives and incredible live show and deserve to be on top of the world.
WOW!!! What a phenomenal performance. This was my first time seeing Mother Mother live, and my friend and I were in the mezzanine. Not many people standing up there, but we sure were!! They sounded AWESOME live, even better than the recorded versions of the songs which I didn’t think was possible. All the harmonies were done so beautifully, and the energy was incredible. It meant so much to me that I had the opportunity to see them, and next time they’re in Thunder Bay, we can hopefully get tickets closer to the stage. This is my favourite band I’ve ever seen live ever, and I would recommend their music and performance to anyone and everyone. You can tell they’re such kind people, and this made my shitty year so worth it. I loved how they played new stuff and older songs, too! They did a great job engaging with the audience, and I’ll treasure these memories forever <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Great sound as always. This band never disappoints!
That was the best concert I have ever been to! Their live performance is just as good, if not better than how they sound on their albums. They were high energy and engaging with the crowd, the lights looked amazing with the music. My boyfriend who doesnt care for Mother Mother came with me. At the end he said he imagined that someone who likes them would be very happy with that performance, lol. Later that night he said he would definitely go see them again! I've loved them for ten years, I am so happy I finally got to see them live! I hope they will be coming back to my hometown again, if not I will have to catch them somewhere else! It was THE BEST!
The small venue wasn’t even sold out so the energy really wasn’t there. The band wasn’t very interactive with the crowd and the instruments were louder then the girls so you couldn’t really hear them properly when they were signing. All in all, I was very disappointed. The opening act “mono whales” was more interactive and had a LOT MORE energy even though the crowd was seated for most of their performance. After this experience I can’t say I would recommend going to see MM.
Really appreciate such a great band coming to the small city of Thunder Bay. Big concerts are few and far between here and these guys did not disappoint. Can’t wait to see them again
Fantastic set and amazing performance. This band puts their heart and soul into the performance and it really shows. Will see again.
It was loud! Is was fun! It was the best thing I have seen/heard in years! I’m so glad I got to spend it with my mom and my friends! (Especially on Mother’s Day!)
Fantastic show as always. This was my 4th time seeing mother mother over the past 14 years, and they only keep getting better and better!
Best concert I've ever been to. They were so energetic and tuned into the crowd, sound was excellent.
