Amazing show! Had a fantastic time! Would go back in a heart beat.
Excellent show, very entertaining! Very involved with the audience.
You can never go wrong when purchasing tickets to go see the sexy Thunder From Down Under men. My only advice ladies would be to spend the extra money and get as close to the stage as possible. Their nakedness looks much better up close! ;)
I would go back and recommend this to all my girl friends!
Great fun, the guys were very engaging, mc was very funny and include the audience. Great girls night out.
The performers were in great shape and looked good but that was it. The show was shorter than I expected and the guys weren't great dancers. The moves weren't difficult but at least once dancer was out of sync or couldn't do a move during each song. I have seen the traveling show before and it was better a few years ago
When I think of strippers, I think of bums getting wiggled at me so I can slip dollar bills in their underwear. This was basically a stage show, you sat and watched the men dance on stage, or on tops of tables. if you were not in the front row they never came near you.
Sadly, there was little to no choreography in this show! While the performers are very fit and easy to look at, there was no talent displayed. Lots of bumping, grinding and mooning spontaneously throughout the show. I feel this show would display more interest it if were professionally choreographed and the performers actually knew how to dance. "Girls Night Out" is always fun, but no added value by attending this performance.
Great performance. Would go again for sure. Very interactive with the crowd which was nice to see :)
I've been to this show 3x now with little changing in the program from one year to the other. The MC's ability to get the audience riled up and getting involved into the show was amazing !! There is also the anticipation if the MC is going to do a number for the audience that creates a lot of excitement in the show. The songs are great and depict the acts very well, they go hand in hand. The only downfall of the show is the audience's knowledge of the guys coming into the audience to interact with the ladies. The first 2 shows I saw , the guys were able to climb the up the tiered sections without being overcrowded by the audience and able to interact with more audience members. This 3rd show the audience is well aware of whats going to happen and they literally jumped out of their seats in the tiered section over people to get into the walkway before the guys even made it up the stairs which caused a lot of people not being able to enjoy the experience or get a chance to interact with the guys. The next time I see the show I may consider floor seats as the interaction is mainly focused on the first few rows within reach of the stage.
High energy, super good looking guys, the host was hilarious
Don't get me wrong, the men were good looking, well built, athletic and nice to look at when they could be. Part of my disappointment was that they spent a fair amount of time in the audience being fondled and at that time the actual show had great gaps in it. We were told at the beginning that the men would be available to pose with and meet at the end of the show. they should have left the meet and greet till then. They have been a group for a long time and play Vegas. I guess that my main disappointment was the actual show. It didn't look like something I would pay to see in Vegas. The sets and costumes left a lot to be desired. I thought that the young host did a great job in working with the audience and when it was his turn to do his thing, actually was the best. Before anyone says anything, I did enjoy looking at the men. They were a great display of the male body. And this review has nothing to do about me not getting to touch or fondle them as I never tried to be part of that scene. Not worth touching, unless I know I can take them home. I guess I was expecting a little more razzle with the dazzle. Not disappointed with the men or their personal performance.
The Thunder from Down Under was AMAZING! My only complaints of the show were the bar lines were ridiculously long (I missed 15 minutes of the show just getting a drink) and the show itself was quite short...overall though my friend and I had a great night and the boys are very HOT!!!
I purchased 12 tickets for this ladies night out event, I was very disappointed as we could not see the performers on the stage...maybe just the tips of their heads and Im talking from the shoulder up! Everyone was stretching and bobbing their heads for the same reason, very uncomfortable seating arrangement. We had floor seating..second level. Yes the dancers came around and moved quickly throughout the audience, favouring certain areas, and I hope this doesn't come across not nice, as it is not meant to, BUT any one of those dancers that chose a girl from the audience for the stage or to hug or whatever...were all either plain Janes, or way overweight, and trashy dressed, some even looking like they forgot their shirt or pants!!! Im not disagreeing that they should not be chosen also, as I think this is great, BUT balance is out in all fairness. Everyone always feels for the girls who may get less attention, but in this case the night was about them only! Make it fair!!! They can figure it out. One of the dancers approached a beautiful young neice of mine and then just turned his back on her. Give me a break...this table was full of stunning girls and beautiful middle aged woman. Totally ignored......well maybe except for when the showed started and one jumped on the table...But it was the table he was approaching. Bar service was terrible, had to wait in line for at least 45 minutes for a drink or soda, missing the show which was short to begin with. This was a ladies night out!! Hire some buffed shirtless guys to serve the tables drinks or sodas etc. The bar service that was available was poorly organized and cranky servers....line ups too long you missed the show, which didn't matter for us because could not see the stage anyway. Im not sure using over an hour to take photo's is fair, cutting the show short......and charging 20.00 a person for a picture for a unclear polaroid shot! One of the dancers said this is how they make their money, and this is fine, but give options. You didn't even have the option to have 2 or 3 of you in a photo for the 20.00.They also could have been more creative with their performance. The faking an orgasm contest....well by far the second girl should have won as there was not even the slighest descrepancy their.......even that was judged unfairly. They could have added a little more creativity to their show. Aside from not being able to see the stage, we did make our own fun amongst us. Just for the record our age ranges were from 22 to 57. Chippendales put on a much more professional classy show. Fun night but overall venue was disappointing.
All the guys were gorgous and can't wait for them to come back!
no stage presence at all.. nice bodies but so what if u cant see it and doesnt move
The show was uneventful, the host had no personality and didnt not get the crowd going. The dancers didnt have costumes that were anything to speak of and the stage had not backdrops or anything but a black background. The show lacked the pizzaz it is know for. The dancers had nice bodies but at time seemed to lack the contact with the audience. There were large screens on the side of the stage that could have been put to use so some of us that were further back and in the balcony could get a close up look. Overall very disappointing for the price.
I saw Thunder Down Under in Las Vegas a few years ago and was very impressed with the diversity of talent and pysical ability. They kept me entertained and totally involved. The Vancouver show on the other hand was totally boring and I couldn't wait for it to end. The evening was a gift to my daughter and grand daughter and I was very embarassed after giving them the great build up of the show in Vegas. The most entertaining part of the evening was the dancers perfroming in the Casino after the show (nothing to do with Thunder Down Under). Anyone who has seen the Vegas production would be very disappointed with this travelling second string.
Fun and unforgettable. Unexpectedly up close and personal, though we sat in the back row on the main floor. Those who bought balcony seats would have been disappointed, for they would not have experienced the lovely men running up and down the main aisles dancing on tables! Mt girlfriend had a great time but was disappointed that those beautiful bods did not do "The Full Monty"!!!
