Monster Jam is a fun event for people of all ages. At most venues, children two and under can attend for free as long as they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap. However, some venues may require all guests to be ticketed regardless of age. Children aged two and up require tickets for all events, including Early Access, Pit Party, VIP Experiences and post-event experiences.
Please contact your local venue to confirm their specific policy.
Ear protection is recommended for children and adults. Monster Jam concessions sell Monster Jam-branded novelty ear protection and disposable ear plugs while supplies last. You are allowed to bring your own ear protection.
Additionally, it’s important to note that some Monster Jam events can use pyrotechnics before, during and at the conclusion of the event.

Monster Truck drivers put on a great show, lots of fun for the whole family.
Great show but would try to go the Saturday instead of the Sunday. Trucks had mechanical issues. Bigger venue would improve the experience. Nothing like the shows in the states.
This is our second year in a row that we have attended the Monster Jam show in YYC. Last year was AWESOME. While we didn't get to see all the drivers that year we still got to meet a number of them and it wasn't over crowded. This year it was a bit of a gong show from start to finish. We lined up and when they opened the doors they said "if you've had your ticket scanned go here, if you haven't go here". I'm not sure how people had their tickets scanned ahead of time, but we who didn't had to shuffle to another line up - and lose our original place. Then there were also issues with the scanners, overall a disappointing start. When we did finally get to the Pit Party they had clearly sold WAY more tickets than last year as there was a line up to get in, so when we had to take our young child for a bathroom break after seeing one driver we didn't even make an effort to go back to try and meet anyone else because it was so crowded and there was a line up to get back into the pit. Now if we're talking about the show, that was awesome, the driver's were great and we were all entertained. I'll probably go again next year, but I'll definitely reconsider buying a Pit Pass - though it does get you there early so you have great parking options. Oh, also, they need to work on their post-parking congestion. They should employ people to direct traffic so that it's a smoother exit for everyone.
We had the best time watching the monster trucks, the hosts were engaging and our kids loved it! The only downfall is that we were 25 minutes late after waiting 45 minutes to get into the venue in Calgary.. we ended up walking 2km to get in. This isn’t a reflection of Monster Jams show!
This was our first time at Monster Jam and we really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was great, the trucks did some cool moves, and they did a good job interacting with the crowd. The only downfall was, at times it was really hard to hear the announcers!
Too much downtime, kids got bored fast. Drivers didn't seem to be going as hard as previous years
Not the way I remembered it from the past. Where was the car crushing? Seemed a bit ho hum but I admired the skill it took to balance the monster truck vertically & drive it forward, backward, & down the hill.
Amazing experience, great for kids too. Just bring ear protection!
We paid a lot of money for tickets down in the infield. We went on the Sunday. While the show itself was awesome it was really disappointing that they didn't clean the aisles from the show Saturday. All that sticky spilled pop and sugar was a magnet for wasps. You spent the entire show swatting them trying to keep the kids from getting stung. It made it really hard to enjoy the show.
