  • Sounds to get you on your feet!

by IFUSAYSO on 2016-06-28The Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk - BrooklynRating: 4 out of 5

Great to be part of history enjoying the first show at the Amphitheater at Coney Island. The sound in this venue is the best I've ever heard. It's not too large a venue either so you can enjoy the show no matter where you sit. Maxi Priest, Steel Pulse and Ziggy Marley, what a phenomenal line up. Could not sit through these vibes, had to get up and dance! MC's did a great job keeping us involved in between sets. Had to deal with some seat surfers in the aisle. Wish security would have dealt with them and sent them back to their seats. Some opening night fumbles with one of the washrooms, and accessing the parking lot took longer causing us to miss the opening act, but hopefully these are "growing pains" and they'll have them ironed out.

  • Ziggy Marley Was Amazing!

by DKrome on 2014-10-12Burton Cummings Theatre - WinnipegRating: 5 out of 5

All the majesty and righteousness of his father with a 21st CE flare! His covers of Bob were so powerful I think I shed a tear, while his own new tracks were beautifully melodic and also profound. The dancers were beautiful, the setting was beautiful and the an amazing energy in the crowd. Best concert I've been to in a while.

Awesome concert, sound was great, band was on fire, Ziggy nailed it.

  • Ziggy the real deal

by WoodyFC on 2014-08-10Sound Board at MotorCity Casino Hotel - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

If you like reggae that's authentic and fresh, Ziggy's the real deal. Been a fan for a long time and no he's not riding on Bob's coattails. Whoever designed the Sound Board should have his architects licence removed, but it didn't matter because we were standing up dancing anyway and could see at least half the stage over the obstructred view railings. Nothing could take away the energy of a Ziggy show. Peace Rasta.

Excellent show...great music, vocals, and energy. The crowd was totally into it and sang along all night. Ziggy has an amazing vibe and approach to reggae -- the back up vocals were also cool with this excellent women who danced and sang all night...everyone was on their feet.

This concert was awesome. I loved the mixture of his hits along with 3-4 of his dad's classics. And to finish it of with Look who's dancing now. Everyone was. Can't wait till he comes back.

  • Ziggy was great!

by Martinko on 2012-07-03The Phoenix Concert Theatre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The venue was OK, the music was great. What I did not like is, you sold the tickets for 9PM so did the advertisements about the event, however the band started to play at 11PM ! Have a know that I would not be there so early and would be prepared for a late night. After all, this was in the middle of a working week (for some of us).

  • Excellent

Great performance in a wonderful little club. Felt very personal. Really had an amazing time. Great crowd.

  • by Cinderelly on 2011-11-10Sound Academy - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I thought he was just great. I don't know who the first band was, but I thought they were terrible. For sure Ziggy was the star. I was suprised to find his voice was just like his dad's when you hear him live. I would go again for sure. I don't think he needs to do his dads songs, his own are outstanding. Glad I went, that was great reggea
