For the price of $220 Canadian {$300 US} I was shocked and angry. We were in a tent sitting on folding chairs, packed in like sardines!! The show was mediocre at best. I have seen all of the cirque shows in Vegas and they all have very acceptable venues! I am shocked that Caesars Palace would actually use this venue, let alone charge such an exorborant fee for tickets. I emailed Total Rewards and expressed my displeasure and they did not even respond to me!

  • FANTASTIC!

by Jayson74 on 2016-08-21Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

What a great night. Filled with fun, laughs and talent too. If you are going to see one show in Vegas be sure to see this one! Also, if you can by the table side seats ....do it!

  • Amazing show!

by Fnsensation on 2016-06-28Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Entertaining show with great acrobatics. I enjoyed the satire and humor during the show. There was never a dull moment! There is not a bad seat in the house!

  • Absolutely Loved it!!

Enjoyable, entertaining, a great show to see!! Highly recommend "absinthe". Made us laugh so hard

  • Absinthe was funny but....

by MelonBall on 2016-05-10Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 2 out of 5

I think it was too hyped up. It was funny, but too short, the jokes were predictable, I think my friends are funnier...I think the cast was trying too hard..... and the tickets were WAY TOO MUCH MONEY for the caliber of performances. We saw Rock Vault for $150 less (for 2) and those old fogeys knocked our socks off.

  • Great time!

by brunettebabe on 2016-04-19Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Lots of laughs. Very comparable to Zumanity and viewers need to have a sense of humor but was non stop laughs and the fact that I didn't see any safety equipment made the stunts seem that much more exhilarating. Not a bad seat in the house, we had 4th row no need to pay for front row seating as the smallest venue I have seen in Vegas!!!

  • Absynthe was amazing!

by Dannyv on 2016-03-30Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

Great show, good entertainment. Very intimate setting with excellent performers. Not for the faint of heart or those with little sense of humour. Can be rounchy and provocative but all meant in good fun. Don't go if you're easily offended and avoid the first two rows ... You will get picked on and might also get wet!

  • Unique Entertainment in a Tent

by CDRI on 2016-02-20Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Absinthe is a show that will make you laugh, blush and mostly be amazed by the acts that appear on a small round stage at the center of the tent. For some the MC and his interplay with the audience (especially those seated in the front row) may be considered rude and racist. He is the entertainment as the acts transition on to the stage. The tent is small and the furthest seats around the edge of the tent all provide a very intimate and close setting. There is not a bad seat in the house. However if you would like a table for your drinks, and a little more space - those seats are at the back of the tent. The acts are circus like extraordinary performances of strength, talent and dare devil thrills, with many omg moments.

Great show. Very much a 'cirque du soliel' style acrobatic show, but well done. Commentator really set it off. If you are easily offended - do not attend this show. They do pick on people in the audience as well. Not a bad seat in the place as it is so small - don't waste money on expensive seats. But be warned that the seats are very small and close together (like folding chairs). That wasn't the greatest - get an aisle!

Quality is not quite the same as 2years ago. Bit disappointing.

What a show!! If you only see one show in Vegas - make it Absinthe.

  • what happened to the original Absinthe?

by mskyhntr on 2015-03-23Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 2 out of 5

I saw the show last fall. It was fantastic. Recomended it to a friend who went in January. Upon asking her how she liked the show, she was disappointed. It would appear parts of the show I had seen were missing. I returned to Vegas this past week with my wife and friends and brought them to the show. This time around, characters were played by different people. The new Penny Pebblits tried hard, but her performance was lacking. She did not do the sock puppets which was very disappointing. The two female acrobats that did the high wire routine were missing. The group of male acrobats, missing. The roller skaters, missing. So because there were a number of routines absent for some reason, the show as advertised failed. Also due to the absent routines, the show was much shorter. It went from one of the best Vegas shows, to average and no longer worth the high cover charge.

  • Great show, terrible venue

by Golfgirls on 2015-02-21Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

The show is great, but if you don't like rude and raunchy, this is not the show for you. They do cross the line many times... Acts are really good, really enjoyed the strongmen :) The venue however really is awful. It looks fun with lots of neat decorations but it is basically card chairs strung together so you are literally sitting on the person beside you. The chairs are tied together so they touch so there is no possible way to get a little space between you and the person beside you. I would recommend getting the seats in the back rows as those seemed to have real chairs and some neat bathtub loveseats that at least would allow you a little more room.

Really great show, had a lot of fun. I know some people could find some of it to be "a bit much" (maybe taking the off-color humor too far) but I loved the whole thing.

  • Absolutely Hilarious!

by maroni on 2014-12-16Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

This is an acrobatic - circus like show - with a twist. The Vegas naughty twist!!! The performers are AMAZING and the ringmaster and his assistant are over the top hilarious! They don't skip a beat or miss a word of their incredibly fast-moving "story" banter and must have to take a pill just to calm down at the end of the evening!!! I would recommend this show to everyone (unless you don't like a little dirty and naughty) - but then why are you in Vegas!!!!

  • What cirque du soleil wishes it could be

by Marzo167 on 2014-11-16Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

Perfect combination of comedy & acrobatics!!! Fun, engaging, yet very personal. Enjoyed every minute.

One of our highlights of Las Vegas. So funny, would go again and recommend to anyone with a sense of humor.

  • by leonb on 2014-11-09Spiegeltent at Caesars Palace - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

Jokes on the edge, sometimes quite crude. Acrobatics excellent. Entertaining.

  • Absynthe was bloody awesome!

If you want to see something different, foul mouthed, raunchy and hilarious, then go see Absynthe! Our cheeks hurt from laughing so hard and we loved every minute! The show also features some pretty jaw dropping acrobatic moments.
