  • Monster Jam

by Bracebridge on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

My family and I went on Sunday. Parking as usual was not the best. The show itself was ok but disappointing; a couple of trucks broke their front tires etc at the beginning of their time. But my 5 year old was excited that we were there.

  • Monster Jam was truly amazing!!!

by LukesMom on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was our first time attending monster jam it was actually our 2 year olds idea, and it was amazing and very family friendly, however they did run out of the good souvienrs fast so I recommend you get what you want early.

  • Extreme show!!

by Hemstock on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I knew that monter jam was going to be a great show, but I did not expect it to be so exciting! The trucks did way more extreme stunts than I thought they would! I think four or five of the trucks were wrecked before the show was even over. Robosaurous was a great addition along with the nitro carts. Overall this show was way above expectations! I can't wait until they come to town again.

  • Monster jam Rocks!!!

by GraceMichaelTheo on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Our first Monster jam experience was an unforgettable time. The pit party was great! The drivers were very friendly and took time to have pictures taken with kids and sign autographs. A very kid friendly event!!!

  • Great show especially for the kids

    by Swish143 on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Enjoy'd the Monster Truck Jam. 2nd year attending and both shows were great! They really know how to entertain their audience young and old! Only complaint is about the Rogers Centre.....there are 2 hours between the pit party and the start of the show and this year the Rogers Centre would not let you leave the building during that time you are forced to wait out the time within the concourse or your seats. A challenge when you have kids with you. We didn't even mind buying our lunch within the Rogers Centre but those 2 hours woudl have been a great time to have the kids enjoy the trains right across the street or a quick visit to the CN tour.

  • Good Show, Venue needs a bit of work

by Incisen on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Parking is always brutal downtown, this was no exception, the first 5 lots I drove by were full, finally found parking under the convention centre (cheaper too), leaving was absolutely brutal. The concessions were a dissapointment as they were sold out of all the toys and small t-shirts, explain to a 4 year old what sold out means, it ain't easy cuz all the 4 year old hears is 'no toy'. The bathroom at the rogers centre suck too, there are 50 urnals and 1 stall in each bath room, with this type of venue where there are tons of kids, good luck trying to get that one stall. The show was pretty good, but I miss the old line up of cars to crush, now it's just ramdom jumps. My little guy liked the robosaurus.

  • Might be last time !!

by steadystan on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

I take my twin Grandsons to the event every year for their birthday. I must say every year it is going downhill. This year for starters no programs available for the kids apparently sold out on Saturdays event. No banners for the kids and only "T" shirts too big for eight year olds. Then lets get on the dust and fumes caused by the two jet engine carts that were a flop in everybody's opinion. Then we were subjected to extreme cold as the doors had to be opened by the fire department because of the fumes. It was minus 18 at the time and a lot of people left before it was over. The only good part for the kids was the monster eating the cars but other than that it was a flop and unless we get some kind of a cut for next year we will be a no show. Still shivering from the cold we were subjected to for the last quarter of the event.

by samhain on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

This was my first monster jam and I had no idea those trucks would do what they did. My jaw hit the floor and my five year old was in amazement!

  • Best MonsterJam yet.

    by chinook72 on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

My 10 year old son and I attended the event on Sunday. He loved it. The extras were great, especially Robosaurus. The drivers were extremely nice, even after having been signing autographs for well over an hour.

  • Monster Jam was AWESOME!!

by SherryLL on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This was by far the best Monster Jam we have been to. Everyone did a great job. The line ups moved super fast and we had no issues or problems with the whole event. Thanks to the drivers for giving us such a great show!!

  • Monster Jam could have been better.

by meck on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

This was the third year in a row to see Monster Jam and it will probably be our last as this was the lamest of the three. Robosaurus was a bonus, I will admit, and my kids (3 & 5) enjoyed it. Unfortunately it seems this event drew the newbie drivers and I got the feeling that Toronto was a bit of an afterthought on the circuit. Perhaps there are border difficulties and the more famous trucks don't bother to come here.

  • IronMan Rocked!

    by Jewel873 on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

What a fun and fantastic event! Even though it was -30 outside, we decided to attend the event anyway. I had bought the tix for my 9 year old son for Christmas and he absolutely LOVED his first experience watching the Monster Trucks! It was highly entertaining and I am definitely coming back next year!

  • Monster Jam 2011

by Motonic on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The trucks and display was great, especially the fire breathing robot/transformer. That was the highlight! The whole performance from start to finish was very lengthy. An hour and a half between pit and show was a very long delay for the kids. The show seemed choppy and broken up -it really seemed like it took more time than necessary between events. This stood out as a disapointment. The jet engine packs were extremely loud, so be prepared for noise! I would do it again for the kids sake only.

  • Most AMAZING show ever!!!!!

  • Monster Jam - Too Cold...

by Maxxi on 2011-01-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Thank goodness I have girls. Although I enjoyed the event, it was quite cold, I did not remove my jacket once. I believe one of the gate doors closest to where we were seated was open, not sure why?
